MP3 Amplifier's MP3 Ampli-Files

I have been wanting to do this for ABSOLUTELY AGES, but my confidence has been pretty much non-existent. I listen to myself, hate my voice, delete it and then don't have motivation to start over.

I'm just managing to come to terms with the fact that you guys and real life guys hear my 'authentic tone' all the time anyway, when I'm speaking and singing. I'm actually the only person in this world that doesn't hear it, and no-one has once complained about how annoying or ♥♥♥♥ my voice sounds so I'm gonna trust the world's opinion. With this in mind, my confidence has grown a fair bit, and I finally have a cover for you guys to hear. :D

This one is an exact cover, exact as in recorded almost exactly the same as the original. I recorded this in the studio, before I release it though, I want to make a few changes to it. My harmonies sound pitchy and it's because the main part has reverb on it, meaning that the note is very slightly altered so I just have to put reverb on the harmonies too after half term, to make it sound a bit more pitch perfect to my ear.
When I'm happy with it, I'll upload it to my record label soundcloud account (it's not a real label, just one I made for a college project last year, there's a remix on there too so hey ho have fun listening to that :3) and I'll link it here.

In the meantime though, I have acapella covers that I will be doing of my favourite songs, surprise surprise a lot of them are Ariana Grande. But her songs are reeeally tough to sing so I like to think I've done myself proud with it. These ones are only recorded on my Nook, but it has a higher quality mic than both my laptop and my phone and I'm not going to book the studio just to do acapella, so yeah.

When I've worked out how to, I'll upload them to soundcloud from my tablet and you guys can listen to them. :D

tl;dr I HAZ COVERS THAT I CAN'T WAIT TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS. I feel like I now justify my username.

Sweeeeet, glad to see someone else is sharing their music here. At least, I don't think anyone has done it much since I used to. Then again, I haven't been here much. In any case, I'll try to check in to see what you're up to.

I've tried uploading some acapella covers to soundcloud so far but they're not great quality, only then I realised if I recorded directly from the soundcloud app, the quality is as good as my college studio. So I'm basically waiting for some time when I can record them again. But thanks, I can't wait to post them up. :D

MK makes music with Famitracker, but much to his dismay, its rarely noticed.

That aside, can't wait to listen, MP3.

My first one, I recorded this a few days ago. *head in pillow*

https://soundcloud.com/weeping-willow-r ... ana-grande

Weeping Willow Records is NOT a real label, just a college project. :P (and yes I did make the art myself.)
I'm uploading another one later, now that you guys know my channel you could even follow it but I will be updating here anyways soo it's up to you. Some trivia- my voice type is coloratura mezzo-soprano, and my vocal range is C3-E6 (C3-C4 chest register, D4-E5 middle register, F5-E6 head register) on a regular singing day. When I've had a cold I've been able to go as low as G#2, but I've also been able to sing as high as A7 with a cold soo lol.

Wow, your voice is awesome! :D I can't say I'm familiar with the original so it's hard for me to compare on that front, but you sing with a lot of energy and your range is great. Also British vocalists have a distinct advantage over us lame American ones, so you've got a lot going for you. :P I'll try to keep listening to things as you post them, and I also followed you on SoundCloud. Also, colds work very differently for you than they do for me; how exactly can you sing higher with a cold? XD

Coincidentally, I also just started work on my own project involving covers, featuring only acoustic guitar and vocals, recorded in complete takes. I'm doing this because my long in progress album of original material is almost done but I'm struggling to find the time to finish it up now that I'm working full-time and am part of the real world. These covers can be recorded in a half hour though, which is great. This is the only one I intend to post in advance of concurrently releasing both the original album and cover album, but if anyone wants to check it out, I just recorded and posted it yesterday. https://soundcloud.com/jared-d-weiss/kn ... -the-river

Tried to hunt it down real quick but couldn't find it and got lazy. Link me? I'd like to check it out.

I'm not sure, my voice was all squeaky because of it soo I somehow managed to get insanely high. XD

But thank you so much. :)
I'll check out your stuff too, I'm really into the recording side of music right now because my whole course is based around it, I can't wait to release more covers, I've got another song that I want to do in the studio next week so yay.

Whitney Houston is mighty hard to live up to, but you did a pretty excellent job. Nicely done. :)

I've only listened to your rendition of I Have Nothing, but I really liked it, and I think you have a very impressive vocal range. I will try to listen to your other stuff later.
