OH MY GOD THAT ENDING

Image

Spoiler: show
Gotta love the parallels between this ending and the one to "Seven Thirty-Seven," when Tuco kidnaps Walt and Jesse.

The intro was fascinating as well. Very strong start to the show in my opinion.

It took me longer than it should have to realize the beginning was post-Breaking Bad. I figured he just sold cinnabons before he became a lawyer and he made those commercials in anticipation.
Prediction: Tuco kills Saul.

Yeah, I know I haven't been as attentive to this topic as I wanted to be. Anyways, great episode last night, although I ended up getting distracted numerous times and so I missed a few bits and pieces of it. The old lady's reaction at the end was hilarious.

I can't believe that Saul Goodman is a pun and I never picked up on it till now. I'm ashamed of myself. Terrific episode last night.

I also really like Kim. (?) I thought she'd be kind of a ♥♥♥♥♥ but she turned out to be really kind and overall a pretty funny and likeable character.

Mike's my favorite character in Breaking Bad and his backstory was definitely one of the biggest questions for me that the series' had left unanswered. I was beyond thrilled that it was explored so substantially in this episode, and so well. This would also seem to suggest that the current time in Better Call Saul precedes Mike becoming involved with Gus, which seems to suggest that at some point Giancarlo Esposito may return to that role.
