So that was a sad episode.
I'm surprised at how much hate, or rather, confusion, there is about pearl there is already. (15 minutes since episode ended.) It's not that hard to understand why Pearl did this. Fusion at it's core is love (even if some people use love to benefit themselves,) considering how pearl is so heartbroken after Rose, it's clear she just wants to feel love again. Another thing is, (which was actually explained by amethyst) fusing with Garnet just feels great. Although I understand her actions, it still doesn't excuse the fact that she's been repairing the thing that would alert yellow diamond.
As for Garnet, I'm surprised at how mad she got. Ruby and Sapphire know how great fusion is, right? Amethyst and Pearl rarely ever get to use it. If anything, Ruby is the one who was pissed. I wouldn't expect that out of Sapphire.
Also wow Amethyst understanding Pearl is great, I'm glad she did that instead of getting mad.
Now about the week itself, I don't think it's about Sardonyx. It's about Pearl and Garnet and they will continue having problems that started because of what Pearl did throughout the week.
