I suggest a non-atheist review this song.
Temporary Home - Carrie Underwood.
:awe: :awe: :awe:
Had it stuck in my head for awhile when my parents had *99.1 on the radio in the car.

EDIT: Or Pulse - Flow, now that anyone can review.

Don't let me fall - B.o.B
Rating: B
The only things wrong with this is
1.) The term that appeared when he began rapping a second time
    2.) Repetitive beat.

The lyrics shows us every musical star's dream. Nice. I liked how he used the famous quote in here. The beat was repetitive, though. Sounded do generic. :P Voice is okay... Could be better.

Overall, an acceptable song that is rather catchy, in a good way, but needs some more work here and there.

You Don't Mean Anything - Simple Plan

Rating: C

Lyrics need work. "You" and "You" rhyme, but that's because they're they same word. "No" and "Woah?" Someone got lazy. "Me" and "Be?" C'mon. Get a bit creative.

I like the music though.

Sorreh mode, but I'm atheist. So here goes....

Come On Eileen - Dexy's Midnight Runners
Rating: B (Gotta love it, wasn't that bad.) ;)
Since I have almost no experience with older songs such as this, (Sometimes I can't even clarify weather it's old or not.) I tend to dislike songs such as this. But for this one, it had a great beat to it. The music seemed better than the lyrics, and I especially liked the rise in speed during the ending. On occasion though, I heard the phrase, "Come on Eileen." several times, almost too much. But I guess that's how it works, older generations of music tend to be quite different, and confusing to the newer generation. All in all, the song was well enough to actualy keep me listening. I'm not a big fan of this kind of music, but it doesn't hurt to try something new every once in awhile.

*See's Mode's edit* Well, I am running out of time, must go to bed. I've got no more time to make another review. Plus I got school tomorrow, whoopie, what fun! [Sarcasm alert]

Can someone do this one? Happy endings - All-American Rejects

Would review someone else's, but I have too much homework, so for now:

Someone better review this song, cause I'm about to do reviews for like three people. So somebody better do mine. It's only 5.5 minutes.

Freedom Rider - Traffic

Temporary Home - C+

This was OK. It had a nice melody and the lyrics were pretty good, but ultimately again it was a very simple song in terms of its chord structure and whatnot. And I'm not quite sure why you didn't think an atheist should review it…there's only one part of the song suggestive of religious themes and it's not like it was offensive to atheists…but whatever.

Pulse - D

It's nice to know that the Japanese are bad at someth - *is shot epically* This sounds like so many American songs of the kind that I particularly dislike. Not only is it simple in chord structure and pattern, it makes the terrible mistake of thinking that constantly strumming and quickly playing notes with very heavy distortion makes it talent. At least it had a melody of some kind and unlike MOY's Sigur Ros song, the mixing was good enough that I could tell that what I was hearing was a foreign language.

Happy Endings - C-

I started out hating it. The strumming was constant eighth notes with no variation in the rhythm and simple power chords. This was my general complaint about all the choruses. The verses were better though…still simple, but it had a welcome change in rhythm in the verse. Also the hip-hop sounding section before the chorus had a very nice major-minor chord change with the same root. This made up for the painful choruses and allowed me to give this a C- mark.

Learn to Fly - C+

This was not too bad. It sounded like the generic modern rock song, which is my major complaint with all of these songs. The use of distortion on the guitars made it hard to pick out individual instruments and musical phrases. And the singer is fair in my opinion. That said, it had a nice syncopated drum beat and the guitar work wasn't bad…some nice chord voicings and slides in there that I liked.
