Fair enough but is there anyone as good as Jimi Hendrix in the sax industry (watch along the watchtower for example)

Well, comparing across instruments is tough. Maybe there isn't any saxophonist as good as Hendrix was a guitarist in the rock industry (though Clarence "Big Man" Clemens probably comes pretty close), but certainly in the jazz industry…John Coltrane, for one.

Yeah... but the saxophone was only invented in the 19th century... it hasn't been orchestrated with trumpets, clarinets, violins, flutes, etc with Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart because it didn't exist. Ok, it hasn't been in all of the orchestras, but it has covered a lot of ground in less than 200 years. Any, it matters not the instrument, but how the instrument is played...
