I beg you, your pics are extremely great, even when I bought my photoshop, I can't even do that. I like the abstract idea.

I have noticed some text issues with the art thing. In my work, I find outlining the text to be a great aid to it's readability. There are several ways to do it. If you are using Photoshop, you can either put a layer effect of Stroke or Glow, or you can select all of the text and Stroke the selection. Generally, something that contrasts with the text will make it stand out, even if the color used is one that is used in the background, it will still make the text more evenly colored and easier on the eyes. Even a 25% or 50% opacity white outline can add a lot to the readability of the text. Other editing programs have similar stuff, but I do not know what they are called there.

Just a suggestion. Otherwise, awesome stuff here! Keep up the good work!

Edit: I think Iridescent is gallery quality. Enjoy the wallpaper, and if your screen isn't widescreen (1366x768), you can just crop it to the middle (1024x768), and it will fit fine.

So, to try a book cover, I made a cover for my friend Ze Dybbuk's humorfic Fluff and Circumstance-All By Spontaneity as a thank you for her promise to do some sketchwork! I didn't know which one was the best, or any good, so I tried 5 different effects.

(The pumpkin and the knife represents a pivotal scene in the story, FYI.)

Poster effect to look like a kid made it. :3
