Silent Conversations and a Crow's Final Song!
My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

I liked the covers, especially the orange and negative ones. I think the negative effect looks good for the knife, and maybe combine that with the orange one. My only other suggestion is that the iconic pumpkin has ridges. Even if you are going for a simplified look, just hinting at a few ridges on the thing will give it more of a pumkiny feel. Also, When I looked at it, I noticed Sportaniety (n kinda looks like an r, and e and i in the wrong place). Otherwise, Awesome Job!

So in an effort to improve my skills on book covers, I did a fanfic of my friend Lightning Laveau's called Firefly, a deft AU interpretation of Mario Kart and the real world and the crime and culture it has an effect on. Kind of like Fast and Furious, but with realistic characters, intelligent elements and brilliant visuals, and a slight political influence. Possibly the best fanfic I've ever read.

But in the cover, I believe Bowser has a truck like this; either way, cars are a big element, and I put a dithered poster effect to make a play on lights and stuff. Name to be added later.

Both covers look nice, but I'd have to actually know the mood set of the story in order to decide. The first one is something more action and fast moving, while the second one is more serious and in-depth. The truck is kinda hard to recognize, even knowing that the car IS a truck, I have some difficulty figuring it out. A quick glance would probably make the people just think it's just a generic car.

This is for Canary on a Landmine, a fanfic for USA network's TV Show In Plain Sight. It's actually quite good, mostly if you're a fan of the show like I am; for fans, it is easily a well put together text episode- adventurous, somewhat humorous when needed, witty, thrilling, and all the good stuff. (I don't think anyone's seen the TV show here though.)
