Well, other than my preference of you coming up with your own images for the headers, I am perfectly fine with you borrowing the general layout. Just quote and copy. As for the section header images, just make your headers 720 pixels wide, and they will stretch all the way across your posts just fine. 50 pixels high is a good size as well. If you want some custom headers made for you, you can certainly ask, as well...

Woo! I got a few seconds to breathe now that the LDC is over. That was a lot of judging... Now, the final installment of the Runouw Header is the rayed background. I thought this was going to be a bigger pain than it turned out to be, because I was worrying about getting the scale right, but then I thought of just taking a regular scale screen cap and scaling it up just for the positioning, and the rest was cake. Line line line line line, eyedropper, select, gradient, eyedropper, select, gradient... DONE!

And this one was just way too big for adding it as an attachment here, so it is on PostImage. Sorry about the non-conformity...

EDIT: Stupid frickin' ImageShack, deleted my image, and then went pay only. Eff that. Postimage now...

And I've been lazy long enough, so here's my latest creation: Awards Stage

This is meant to be a stage useful for whatever ceremonies we have on the site. It was first made for the 14th LDC, and I figured it would be useful for other things too.

Blank Stage - VIEW IMAGE: show
Image
Podium - VIEW IMAGE: show
Image
Instructions: show
To assemble, create an image for the screen, 470 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall. Put the blank stage on the bottom layer, the screen over the black area, your avatar goes wherever you want, and the podium on the top layer in front of your avatar.

If you want you can also make a partially transparent layer of black with a circular hole over the podium, to simulate a spotlight. 20-30% opacity should be good. You could also use an actual render light filter if you have one. In that case, put the spotlight layer over the stage, but under the screen, avatar, and podium. (That way, the screen looks like it is lit by the projector, having its own light source, and the avatar and podium are not washed out.

Save and publish.

I love the fact that you're taking these creations and disassembling them for future use--really opens the door for creativity on anyone's part. Great job as always, Doram.
