Woo! Since the Holidays forum got reset, I have access to the old header again! Time to snag it. This one isn't going to be such a large dimension, partially because it is a lot more complex, and ends up being a very large dimension horizontally, if you are arranging the objects as flash is. Still it is about double the resolution of the header as it normally is displayed.

First off, the Sky Background:

Boring, right. Don't worry, it gets better. Also, I made it 5 pixels wide because that's all you need. Technically, it only needs 1 pixel wide, and you can stretch it however wide you need for the image you are creating, but I figure most paint programs would make it easier to handle if it had a little more width.

I actually had these mountains done yesterday, but I didn't have the time to post them. The Front Mountains just repeat over and over, and tile horizontally. They are aligned at the bottom of the image. The darkened area at the bottom is where the menu items go.

Ok, so here are the Back Mountains. They are placed randomly in the background, but without overlapping (as far as I can tell). The random is somewhere between 0 and 500 pixels distance, between the end of one copy and the beginning of the next, from what I've seen. They are also aligned so that their bottom edge rests at the border of the darkened area of the menu, so for ease of placement, you can put them in the foreground, position them, then move them to the background.

And now, the Back Mountains:

I do still have some raws to process for the Old Header, but they need more work. Also, I updated the New Header section, because ImageShack decided to sell out and go pay only, AND they deleted the New Header Background, so.... I moved it to PostImage, and updated both related posts.

And, other conversation has brought to my attention that a link to the forum background would be useful, so that has been put in the Forum Images section as well. Literally, this is the image, in the spot it always is, that is used by the forums as a background. Enjoy.
