6th Art Contest and the Introduction Of Website Profiles

Hey, guys! I wanted to start the 6th AC, and also, I would like to show you the first implementation to the site as a GMod. Well, at the moment, it's a potential one.

Y'see, I don't quite think the website profile page cuts it. You don't learn much from them. And I suppose that I could just add in more categories, but, really, that doesn't make it YOU. So, being the artist I am, I decided to make one.

Now, this isn't exactly IN the site, per se. I used the almighty Sumopaint to create one from scratch. Here's the template!

Now, this is a very loose template. Almost guidelines more than specifics. What you should probably include is your name, rank, rank color on your name, avatar, interests/trivia and little paragraph. You can change around the looks, the list of interests/trivia, and what your paragraph says, and just doodle/paint/picture insert whatever you want. You can even move it around if you wish.

Now, obviously, this is DIY. What you do is you save it, then take it to paint engine of choice, erase my text, and put your own. Insert your avatar, too, and the Runouw.com logo courtesy of Doram. Image Then, go nuts!

If you do it right, your profile page can turn out like this!

Now, obviously it isn't perfect. I mean, there could be too little space for words, it looks kinda ghetto, stuff like that. So feel free to edit the template with examples. My eventual plan is to make a big ol link on your site basic profile to your picture profile, near your posts and all that. Winners get cool prizes when I can think of them.

So, summary!

Theme: SITE PROFILES!

Idea: Use this template to make your own mini site profile!

Rule: You must include your name, rank, rank color on your name, avatar, catchphrase, interests/trivia and little paragraph.
Must include at least 6 interests.

Permissions: You may use whatever fonts, paint, interest questions, or designing you want. You may also change the layout. You can even start from scratch!

Judges: MessengerOfDreams

10 for layout and looks- is it appealing?
5 for information- does it tell us about you?
5 for bug report and extra stuff- just like the LDC

Deadline: September 10th, 2011

It might be interesting for a 6th Contest, it gives a contestant a good creative feel.

Well if you do, then make it quickly, 'Cause if I make this now I might not be able to use it for the contest when it starts.
