So I was bored and I thought I'd announce the winners of the art contest.

So, let's get right to it! We have 3 top placers! And I'm gonna be nice and not even do drama space!

In third place we have a piece by a beloved member that is very patriotic to our site. Judges enjoyed the structure and creativity and how it was clearly his piece.

Doram! With 16.5 points! (It was rounded up to 16.5 but no one else had around the number at all so he still gets third)

Congratulations, Doram! Also, if you click on his name something maaaaaaaaaaaaaagical will happen.

In second place is by far the entry that took the most effort. With an entry that is a dead ringer to who this user is, this guy definitely deserved every point he earned.

Layout and Looks
It's quite creative and colorful, but the brush lines are messy, tangled, complicated, and make the text sort of, you know, disordered?
The background is quite plain too. The avatar is nice, but a little squashed.

It tells me lots and lots about you. Right from your favorite level, to how your stories flood the forum (quite true!), how you span a whole generation, and lots of other tidbits that generally give you full marks.

As I said above, the brush lines squash the text (mind making the lines a little thinner?), and the avatar is squashed. The brush lines pretty much look a mess, plus I can spot the template lines behind some of the brush lines.
The avatar also half-hides the template lines.

Ah. I can see you left in the template lines. Honestly, they look a little... ugly.
The avatar is quite pixellated, and the name is just... well, your name in a font.
I like the sprite and random picture (is that the D-PAD logo?), but the random brush lines, what are they supposed to accomplish? They look quite the mess.

Well, there isn't really much IN the information field. You left three fields 'blank', and frankly, it reeks of self-glorification.

Wowsers. This one looks good.
Let's see, the background is abstract (and techy!), the theme is too as well. It does get a little bland though. But once again, the template lines are visible for everyone to see. *sigh*
You've got your avatar, sigbars, everything in the right place and looking like it should be there. Brilliant!

It's very true. The only snag I have is, well, why not add in a few interesting facts? We want to know more.
