WHAT. You made it overnight?
I ♥♥♥♥ love you like you are my brother.

Mind if I request a signature similar to the avatar? I don't care what picture of N it is,

although I like this one the most signature-wise.

Nope. Nowhere near overnight, in my land. In fact, I almost got late to school =)

Anyway... that is a tricky character you've got there. The amount of reliable resources is very little.
Either one of the two renders ahead could fit with the background used here or in a similar one. (Seriously, it is painful to chase down backgrounds.)

There's also this Chibi render which I could modify to fit the style used in the Chibi Luka sigbar.

By the way... there's also the border issue. Keep in mind, though, that a custom border multiplies the demanded time.

1st one definitely.

2nd one looks like a intro to a Herbert/N orgy.
3rd one is chibi. Eww. N is better not chibi.

Finished with today's testings.

I am trying to create the border first with two different guidances: using basic vector+brush combinations on GIMP and adding the power of Paint Tool Sai, a more advanced program for hand-made art to create unique effects. Here you can see a little of both border styles in short sections of the sigbar. I'd like to know before proceeding whether I should take the easy way and remain with brushes, go all out crazy with drawings or attempt to combine both ideas.

They're unnecessary.
It does help a bit though.
