I strongly recommend Paint.NET. It's extremely easy to learn and it's kinda fun, too. I haven't tried GIMP or Sumopaint but out of the free image software, I choose Paint.NET.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I can't help but notice this is MP3's art topic, where you request of her to draw something for you, and we're all discussing what she should use for drawing. Let's just face it, you can use MS Paint and draw amazing pictures if you know how to use it. Take this for example, or if you like Marx, this. Since this is a thread with the option to request of the owner, in this case MP3, I would like for you to draw a picture of Nan for the sake of seeing how well you can cope with whatever you want to use.

Lol, I'll try Paint.NET. And I'll see how well I get on with GIMP ... after a while ...

And I'll take those requests, but it might take me a while as I'm new to this whole stuff.

If it goes terribly I know that I'll stick to photography. XD

MP3 EDIT: ♥♥♥♥, sumopaint's not exactly loading up ... well, I'll try Paint.NET, but I don't think my dad likes downloading certain stuff so maybe if I try REALLY hard to convince him! XD And also I'd really like a go at sigbars so I'll do those requests but I'll make some random sigbars for the hell of it anyway, when I'm more familiar with these programs.

If you ask me, Only Sumo Paint worked out for me good.
