Might I suggest the layers tool in the bottom right corner of the screen.

If you mess up you won't have to delete that many parts of your drawing.
It is much less complicated than undoing it a bunch of times.

I'll give it a go in the future, I've never used layers before though. xD

I really like it personally, and I'm getting into these too so I wouldn't mind making a few for people. I might take requests ... but I would really just like to make it in the way I can rather than do something uneasy for me.

I can see you did a nice job adding in the basic SM63 background and slapped a nice looking green shine on top. Loks great!

Well, the two programs I use are SumoPaint and Pixlr. I love SumoPaint's effects, the reflection tool especially. But Pixlr is great if you want to re-adjust the size or add a transparent background. But it's a bit more limited on special effects. But that's okay, I usually mix the two, I start the image on Pixlr and save it to computer, then go on SumoPaint and upload it from the computer.

The grey bit was supposed to be transparent, I might fix that later.

It has sharp colors on the side. Did you use a spray paint tool for the border of the name? It looks nice with the pattern effect.
