I like to draw things on paper and Paint, called 'Elementals'. I came up with the idea since I was about 9. So I now present you with....THESE!
Please review and comment. More will be up soon.

My Earth Elemental, Reckhead!
My spooky-lookin' Ice Elemental, Frostz. Not my best work, but I did the icicle quite well.
My Fire Elemental, Magmerge. I know, he hasn't got smoke coming out of his back like the others; it's a mistake.
My Life Elemental, Lily. I told SuYo1141 it was a girl and he went *nosebleed*
My Doomsday Elemental, Sucker. Take a guess who'll want him

Well, thank you for viewin'! More will come up soon.
They are my own work, btw. If you want to use them for anything, you can, such as a flash game. Just ask me first.

These are pretty good. I especially like the last one. You should try making them in GIMP or Blender (or both by making a model in Blender and adding effects in GIMP).

Not to offend you, but I think the characters are pretty much recolors of the last one. Effects, sadly, are kinda lame, and they overall need a bit more work. However, I like that you tried, and it looks like you're new to this.

First Batch: 6/10

Now, again, it looks like you're new to computer art, so I'm letting you off easy.

No offence taken ;)

But still, I wanna make that clear: I started each one from scratch again, which actually is quicker than recolouring, since the smoke effect from each ghost kinda takes about 15 minutes or so to recolour. They all tend to have the same body and stuff, though. So, no, I didn't recolour.

Agreed. GIMP provides so many more options to tweak and enhance your creations, and it will make them look much more professional.

As for the artwork itself, I'm not really liking it. I also agree with Master; they look like re-colors of the one before them, and the effects need some enhancement and sharpening. Try to differentiate each one of them from the other by providing a background with objects of some sort, and try to change the shape of their bodies in some way. Make them stand out; make them look like the element they're representing.

Overall, I'd say 4/10.

You obviously haven't LOOKED at them then.
I can't make them represent their element anymore, I mean, the fire one is over a body of LAVA, and the ice one has an ICICLE in his hand. :o_O:
Also, to inform you, I made a few of these quite a while ago (about a couple of years). Like that ice one. My style is slightly different. Plus, I don't have GIMP

I've looked at them...please don't insult my intelligence by saying that I didn't.

The reason I don't believe they look like their elements is because the 'elements' you're referring to look like nothing but a single shade of color. I didn't see Ice or Fire; I saw blue and red. It's just my opinion.

Also, GIMP is a free program that can be downloaded. There are also a ton of free brush and effect packs that you can download to go with it, and they all take up a fairly small amount of hard drive space. It's really worth a try.
