ART CONTEST #7 - EXTENDED UNTIL JUNE 1st

THERE'S NO TIME TO EXPLAIN! Wait, actually there is.

Our Theme this time: MEDALS
"Holdonholdonholdoooooon. Don't we already have enough medals? Are you planning new ones?"
Kind of.
We're rolling out a new medal system soon, and I'm right now finishing up the code. But obviously, we can't go live unless we have some medal images!

YOUR TASK: Make shiny medals.
YOUR GUIDELINES:
    48x48 pixels, PNG, no transparency, it's a square.
    For normal medals, use #4190D8 as background color. For event medals, use #333333, and for secret medals, use #FFFF33.
    Try to keep it simple, 3 or 4 colors at max.
    Try to keep a consistent style with the existing medals (see below). Use this template border to get the effect.
    Bonus points if you can upload your XCF/PSD/whatever so staff can still edit it a bit.
    Protip: M$ Paint is almost useless here.

Normal:
- Another World (Visit the Fortress of Awesome)
- Level Maker (Post a level)
- Level Creator (Post ten levels)
- Level Master (Post fifty levels)
- Stars Everywhere (Rate ten levels)
- Level Designer Contest Winner [1st to 6th place] (Rank well in a LDC)
- Runouw Votes Winner (Win a category in a Runouw Votes Event)
- Art Contest Winner (Win an Art Contest)
Event:
- Not Just a Code (Was the first to find one of the Security Codes in the 2012 April Fools Event)
Secret:
- Cookie (Be awesome. Can be nominated by regular users)
- Bacon (Be exceptionally awesome and epic. Can only be nominated by staff)
- Credit to Team (Is a staff member or has been one for at least a month)

JUDGING:
At the end, all submissions will be brought to Forum 23. There, we will decide on one winner for each medal.
PRIZES:
The one who gets the most medals approved gets the Art Contest Winner Medal!
If you make images for at least 6 different medals, you get a cookie!
If you make at least one image for each of the medals, you get bacon!


That's it now get going, you have 2 weeks, until June 1. GO

Okay here we are, it's time I post them. Twenty-nine (29) in total: All the 17 requested, 1 bonus medal and the 11 medals from WITBLO09-10. There are not entirely definite, I may change my mind. Little game that could be useful to judge the medals: Can you guess what it is without knowing it?

Burning Mushroom Award - For making the ninth best level of 2009/2010
Blooper Award - For making the eighth best level of 2009/2010
Planet Award - For making the seventh best level of 2009/2010
Space Colony Award - For making the sixth best level of 2009/2010
Koopa Award - For making the fifth best level of 2009/2010
Explorer Guy Award - For making the fourth best level of 2009/2010
Penguin Crown Award - For making the third best level of 2009/2010 and the best level of 2010
Chocolate Ribbon Award - For making the second best level of 2009/2010

Simple question:

WITBLOAT medals are Event Medals (therefore grey background), aren't they? Because you can only have them once, right? But the WITBLOAT Host is NOT an Event Medal, since you can be an host more than once, right?

Also, MP3, MX, I think you got something wrong, so I maybe I should tell you before things get worse. Suyo said that "for normal medals, use #4190D8 as background color. For event medals, use #333333, and for secret medals, use #FFFF33." So you got the colors wrong :O

Also my medals are finished and posted.
