Yeah, pretty much. I used a Reeves HB pencil, kneaded eraser, blending stump/tortillion, and a black Prismacolor Verithin pencil.
(I'll probably be editing this slightly further and hopefully do a better job of cleaning up the photo on Photoshop.)
Edit: I should also mention that most of my work is usually traditional, and if it's digital, it'll probably just be lineart because I suck ♥♥♥ at actually coloring (though I guess with my shading, I could probably make use of the multiply feature).

Laurent from Fire Emblem: Awakening. God, I love him.

Upcoming: SuYo's commission, Gerome from FE: A, and Nepeta from Homestuck. Oh, and a pixel leech.

Perspective is getting better and better. I like the form and the creasing of the clothes, too. I need to work on that personally.

If you can, I'd recommend getting different grade pencils in a local art store if you can. It'll help show your shading and line work when you scan.

Actually, the problem is getting me to use them. I own 4H to 6B in terms of pencil grades, but I find that I never feel like making them shaded, except for that one a couple drawings ago. Plus, I'm getting a Huion tablet in a couple of weeks, so I planned for this one to be digitalized.

3 layers, first work on the tablet. SAI.

Oh, and my tablet looks like this:

It's got 8 hot keys and 18 hot cells (sort of like hot keys?), and it was 55$. Works amazing, and was able to get used to it right away.

And now that practicing is done and over with, I should really get to work. Srsly.
