I know I'm late for the party, but a deuce is actually the top card that bests aces in some card games. I have to say, interesting designs. I'm not really sure if I can say much else about that other than "interesting" though. I'm sure it's good by some standard, I'm just not sure which one to measure this by. I know I'm not an artist though, so my opinion is totally invalid if it isn't praise somehow. I have to say though, what flash animations have only one frame?

not even going to lie I think I saw this months ago but didn't remember if it was in this topic or not, then I took another look just today and noticed it
then again this was clearly a comment years ago. Is the project planning to have updates regarding new members being filled in for jokers or different positions?

Well well well.
So the reason this whole thing stopped is because I was really disappointed with some of the cards (mainly My_SaxMan's), but also of the general design of characters. It lacked effort. So I wanted to restart it. Unfortunately, I didn't have time.
But now, thanks to summer, I have over 60 days of free time, so its perfect. So I'm planning to try to get this thing done this summer. How? By drawing 1 member everyday (note: only DRAWING it, I will color members later, in packs, like, every week or something). So, what is going to change? Mainly the character's designs, to approach a more "realistic" look. The characters will also be less rushed and more effort will be put into the cards. Also I planned a little something for Kings, Queens and Jacks.
You might think: But Star, don't you want to update the table since you are restarting this? Maybe. I don't know. I feel like the table is fine as it is, as it contains that were important to the forums' history, even if they are not active right now. But it's true a lot of people might deserve a shot at this, notably KABOOM, entertainment.net, but also people who have been fairly active and important recently, like Yurimaster, Harmless and GrandPiano (and other people I might have forgotten right now). I could replace people like Zed or StarF with them. What do you think, who should they replace?
Anyway, the moment you are all waiting for, here are the new 7 first members I will draw this week starting today (selected randomly thanks to Random.org's Playing Card Shuffler):
