You know what? Let's do this. Let's give this one more shot.

Why, you ask? I keep telling myself I need to improve my drawing and coloring skills. I keep telling myself I need to practise character designs and poses. Those playing cards deck may be a very ambitious project, but I feel this is the perfect exercise for me. But I mostly feel like I still owe you guys something to redeem myself from the whole 2015 fiasco, and as a general thank you for 5 near-perfect years on this site.
You don't have to trust me on this, you may think this is yet another red herring, and this thread will die a third time. Honestly, even I can't guarantee the deck will be completed this time. But god damn, am I going to try to make it happen. I've decided I will work a bit differently this time: I will not update this topic as often as I once planned to, and I will not randomly pick the next members I have to draw. I'll work at my own pace, in my own way. I will most likely draw - on paper - the 56 members first, before coloring them all, meaning you will most likely not see completed cards any time soon.
However, in order to achieve this feat, I'm going to have to ask your help. It's blatant things have changed on the forums since I started the project back in 2012. As a result, the table deserves a major overhaul. And after being absent from the site for more than a year, I'm not sure who exactly is relevant at the dawn of 2017. This is where you could come into play. I could use your help deciding which members should be dropped, added or moved. I have some ideas myself, but I'm going to wait for your suggestions first; I'll share mine in a future post.
Finally, I have lost all the work I have ever done on the cards when my computer crashed back in 2015. Therefore, card looks will also be modified; for now, I have opted for a slick design, featuring minimalist card suits - the ones in my signature and in the original post. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading. Let's get this show on the road.
