Runouw Playing Cards - Drawing Starts!

The Runouw Playing Cards is an ambitious project which aims to design a Runouw-inspired Poker deck of playing cards - composed of 4 suits of 13 cards and 2 jokers. In this deck, each of the 54 cards will feature a past or present member of the Runouw community; and the final product will serve as a testament of the rich history of the Runouw forums.
It is my personal opinion that the deck should be considered as a tribute to the Runouw community and the Runouw history, and its history as the whole. As a result, the main argument for the inclusion of a member in the deck is his/her impact on the site - be it positive or negative. Therefore, it is not out of the question for infamous, permanently banned members to be part of the project. Current relevance and worth - as a human being - might also be considered, but will hardly affect the decision if the member's impact was major.
After a member has been selected to be present in the deck, he/she will be assigned a specific card - both a suit and a rank. The suit of the card will represent the member's own strong suit. SPADES (♠) cards will mostly depict members known for their leadership and decision-making skills, who have previously been in charge of notable projects or groups. Members found in the DIAMONDS (♦) suit have made good use of their intellect over the years, whether it was through coding feats, meticulously crafted pieces of work or extensive scientific knowledge. The HEARTS (♥) suit will quite fittingly represent the members who have shown large amounts of kindness, compassion or selflessness during their time on the forums. Finally, CLUBS (♣) will be associated to members who have dedicated their time here to entertain us with either powerful stories, exceptional levels and art, unforgettable jokes... or all at the same time.
Finally, the member's role will determinate his/her card's rank. The larger the mark the member left on the site is, the higher his/her card's value will be. As such, most face cards are reserved for past and present Moderators and Global Moderators.

This project will be handled differently this time. This time, I will not try to complete cards - outline, colors, card design - regularly. I'd rather start with what I'm the confortable with: drawing. After drawing the 54 cards (which probably accounts for more than half the work, what with brainstorming, looking up references and the actualy drawing) and being such a long way into the project, coloring cards and completing cards in rapid succession will be thrilling. I'll also pick which member I'll draw, instead of letting luck decide. This will allow me to work at my own pace, in my own way, which is much less stressful.
However, I will still try to give you guys something from time to time, such as sneak peeks at milestones.

The second update!
I've been asked a few times: "Why limit yourself to 54 cards?" I've opted for the format of a regular deck of cards - instead of, for example, collector cards or trading cards - for a simple reason. I don't want this project to be potentially endless; I feel I need an end goal, some ultimate event I'm looking forward to, in order to boost my motivation. But for those concerned that I might leave out some members, you don't have to worry. I will consider creating "extension packs" to the deck if the need arises. Just keep in mind this will probably only happen after the deck is complete.
