Basically I thought it'd be cool if we had a topic for us to archive our previous avatars, or the ones that you manage to salvage since I know I don't still have all of mine. A little piece of the site history, so to speak.

Just go ahead and make a post with all of your previous avatars you can find, and if you like, you can keep updating your post whenever you get a new one. I'd need to see if I can salvage some of them from my other hard drive when I get my laptop back but I'm making my post right now since I'm about to change avatars. Here's the ones I have right now.

-The original... sort of.
This isn't a replica of the original, it was only from Google Images, because back then I was new to coding and other things. And I didn't have the programs nor knowledge to make my own.


-My second avatar.
I took the picture in Vineland, NJ... I think. It was on the ride home, after watching a movie about bikers (cannot remember the title) with a friend. I had to minimize it in order to make it an avatar. However, I was still developing my skills, and I made the pic's size uneven.


-My third avatar.
It is just a pic from a background app for the iPod Touch. I made slight changes to it to make it authentic, but made a couple, slight errors.

I took a background and did some Photoshopping on it. Surprisingly, it isn't very much different than the original. :3

This IS one of my cats, but he don't mind none! Because he is a cat.

It's just a background with a reflection effect at the bottom. Nonetheless, I like it. :>

My Santa Kirby avatar, which I didn't change after Christmas because I'm lazy Christmas is every day!

I had a feeling there was a thread like this already but that if there was it would be long since dead and would make me posting in it have to make a ridiculous multi-year bump so I decided to make this one.

Guess I was right.

As for me, I had so many avatars because I'm horrible at keeping 1 avatar for a long time unless I like it a lot. Thus, I have the avatar I currently have.

I think I've only had 4 actual avatars, not counting the seasonal ones that I do once in awhile, and the several propoganda-ish ones I made during RRR. Unfortunately, I delete many of my older images once I'm done using them. Not a good habit for an aspiring graphic designer/artist that need to make a portfolio.
The first was a simple google imaged fire kirby, the second was my first use of a personal character, in the form of a 32-bit sprite with a lavender background. After that, we had my good ol' farty sketch:

and the current positioning I use, with other variations of it used throughout the internet.

When I first joined these forums... I still remember that "6O163's DOG" avatar of yours.
