Yaaay new art

This one took a lot of time to make. I drew these with a pencil, then drew again with a pen, and then finally painted some parts with black pencil. I think the result paid off though. This one, while not as detailed as my trees, is certainly one of my favorite works.

I really like these, got some style The first one (blue one) looks like Ego from Ratatouille.

It kinda looks more like Gru from Despicable Me though

Whenever I feel like doing something grotesque, this happens.

I drew this one for an art project, where we had to draw the relationship between a monster and a human. So I decided to go with the unnexpected approach and make them friends.

And I know the girl looks derpy. :s


You guys may remember I drew a beach. Long stor short, I wanted to draw a biger one with colors.

...Yeah, you heard it right. Colors. In my art topic. Surprising huh?

I had to get on my kindle to see the images.
Nah, the girl looks okay.

Let's see...the beach looks nice. Maybe you're better at drawing landscapes, but that's just my viewpoint. You're human figures appear to have a unique technique to them.

Well, the thing about the girl is that... idk there's just something off to me. Maybe it's just me though.

About my landscapes, that may be true for these I've posted here, they do look better than the creatures I've also posted. However, these creatures are not exactly humans per say; maybe humanoids would be the best way of describing them :p

I can actually draw humans though; manga style, that is. Example:



That is an older one, mind you. My technique has definitely improved since then :p

That's what I do too, just because I really like the art style of manga.

Though I must say, the humanoid figures, as simple as they may appear, are really creative. It's like they could tell a story.

What you just said, is probably the most right thing, ever about an artwork. It's all subjective, and mostly, when it comes to telling if your own work is good or not, the best critic is none other than yourself.

Thanks so much! Seriously, that was my intent from the beggining. Their simplicity is what allows you to put personality into them basically. Plus, the way they wear is kinda of a tool to help you picturing their personality better.

Manga is awesome, because it's not only expressive but it has that especial touch to it. Checked out your art btw, looks awesome. Gonna stop by there to leave a comment sometime

Actually, not really on steroids. Just did this because I was really bored during the physics class. Oh, and ignore the bottom-left corner please. It's just a failed attempt.
