Hey guys so I don't come here often but I want to let you all know that I do animation stuff and have been for 2 years now. I just started one day as a desire to get into anime, but I still have a lot of work to do; but I'm sure I want to do anime side-projects.

And, yes I am here to show off my art, and my progress, I also need to get out a message I've tried getting out with no real help. If you think you can help a struggling artist, read ahead.

Basically, I'm at a block. An artist block. Not like what you think, because I will still create stuff, but what I mean is I'm not getting anywhere with my art. I don't have fans because of my art, I don't get commissions even though I'm available, I don't seem to belong anywhere. Maybe it's because I don't post a lot? But, at the same time I get somewhat angry because there are people younger and with less experience who get more attention and praise for their work. And yeah, that does sound pretentious and douche-y, but that's that plain and simple truth. It's been 2 years, and I haven't gotten anywhere. Heck, not even my non-animated stuff seems to impress only a small handful of people. It really sucks being a nobody, because I really really want animation to be my career.

One reason I am this way, what I believe, is that I don't make art friends. I really don't. I don't have any friends who do art, animation, whatever. I can't reach out to them for support. I can only vent online to strangers who don't know me.

I'm really unsure what to do, so any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am starting an animation channel to feature an upcoming short video format series, which my friends are helping direct. Might update here when it comes out.

^^^ This one in particular is interesting because I finished coloring in the first 3 key frames. Then as I was browsing tumblr I noticed a gifset with sailor moon characters, and Sailor Jupiter has the same exact design on her headband! Really weird o__O

^^^ I was going to make a new channel for making animations with my friends, but it wasn't going anywhere and in the end Jacob started a different channel and told me to put my stuff on there from here on out. And I will! The first cartoon short will be posted Friday! I'm super proud of myself because I've never made any actual "cartoons"; neglecting to really. But I did it!

EDIT: Please do note though, all my current work is in 1080p, but I scale it down for GIFs sometimes.
