[Newgeneration]

Lately I've been working on some things while I was gone, and today I have the chance to post a few images, one of which is a desktop background. I also created a new signature.

Now that I'm able to stay at a relative's house for a week or so, I'm able to use the internet again, and continue this topic.

Aside from the change to my avatar and signature, (A very minor change) I didn't make much, as I didn't have a whole lot of time and material for the past few weeks to create a lot. But recently, I've been toying with new Photoshop filters, and it's been helping me create new art.

The only thing that I actually have right now is this colorfully abstract design. There's just something about abstract stuff that I like, but I can't quite figure out why.

Ok, so I've been trying to keep myself active to some extent here. Things have been difficult these past few months, my mom couldn't pay rent on the house we lived in, the laptop I use currently is slightly broken, screen cracked and what not.(Wanted to mention these things, as this is what's keeping me away from the site) Hopefully all of this will blow over and things will be fine again. But anyhow, here's an image that I've been wanting to post here for quite some time. It's a basket weave outlined pattern of a guitar. Managed to find a neat Photoshop filter allowing me to create my own filters. This was made from a filter I created.

In other news, Tinypic felt that it was their duty to remove my green day signature from their site. What has this world come to? An image that I CREATED can be taken down just cause it says green day? Screw them, I'm using ImageShack now.

Bah, I'm low on art right now, I just have this simple custom guitar I made in Photoshop.


Just a Photoshopped image blended onto a guitar. Also, if anyone comes to this topic, I'm running out of ideas for my art. If anyone has a cool idea to base my next artwork on, I'd appreciate it. I've got artist's block now... It may seem simple, but coming up with something to work on is difficult.

Anything? Maybe a subject to base it on?

Okay, so I got a random idea today at school when I noticed how many macs they have, the entire school is based on mac computers, so I edited the apple logo.

I don't like it at all though, it was a terrible free-form attempt at image editing. I had no real plan, so I just splurged. :L

But if you like crude and simple art, I guess that's cool...

So this time, I've managed to put in a drawing that I made over the weekend. It's still a work in progress, and it might be a potential signature bar once I finish working with it in Photoshop. I'd just have to narrow the image down to the right size.

The large shaded area is where text will be put. Maybe it'll say something like, "Sleeping on the job" but I'm not too sure yet. and the picture of the person sleeping was Photoshopped into the image since I suck at drawing people.

I also installed a new font into windows, which is what you see here in the new image. I plan to get more fonts for later use, so I can stop working off Photoshopped lettering. An example of my Photoshopped lettering would be the FAN in GREEN DAY FAN, which is in my signature. The majority of the fonts I'm getting are Grunge styled ones.

Recently, I added a few new brushes to Photoshop. One of the images I've made not too long ago shows an example of one of those brushes.

Added image to spoiler for a better effect. The actual image has a transparent background for later fooling around if I feel it necessary, and saved a .psd for later as well.
One of these brushes is the "Dynamic Light" brush. With a bit of cutting and pasting and a few special effects later, I was able to add this effect to the image. Otherwise, I haven't got much to show yet. How I Met Your Mother FTW!
