I'm just wandering what program you use to get that painted effect?

I don't get the wifi connection comic. Is it one of those upside down illusions where there a two pictures in one, and you used that to show that the place he's in is both his home and Australia?

No it's like the "Dig to china" myth. If you dig a hole through the earth you will end up in china. When you jump in it your feet are "down" but when you exit your feet are "up" because china is on the other side of the globe.

So basically if you look at your house on a 2-D scale from outer space then scroll down to Australia it will look upside down.
And it could possibly be like that one... Vonage (I think) commercial where he talks to his friend on the other side of the globe and it shows it with morphing there houses so that his friend's floor is on his ceiling.

... Dang it now it doesn't make sense to me either.
