HOW TO PLAY
It's easy as pie (whatever that means). Just make a level based off of the theme! The judges will rate them when you finish.
RULES
1. It's ONE level, miniseries excluded! It must fit the topic! Do keep in mind that judges may take off points if the level series is too big, as it can take from enjoyability.
1.1 You can split up the level, if one part is in grasslands, one in the castle or something like that. If you need to change backgrounds and/or music. But if the Grasslands is just 20 tiles, then no.
2. You can update your level unlimited times, but not after the deadline. Edit the old code out of your old posts.
3. There shouldn't be any insults in the level, not on signs and not written with objects.
4. You cannot use an old level; you must make a new level for the contest, UNLESS IT WAS PART OF MARIO MEETS RUNOUW.
5. Go ahead. You can do a joint or use someone unfinished entry as your base for your entry. Just give credit to the originator. Both creators will get credit=trophy
HOW THE JURY RATES
You can get a max of 20 points.
10 points: ENJOYABILITY
Are you enthralled by playing it? Is it so enjoyable that it takes you in and captures you until the shine sprite? That's what this is for
5 points: GRAPHICS
How does the level Look? This is a big part of the level, as this contest is very graphics-oriented. Is there cutoff and wrong-looking tiles? If so, count on losing points here.
5 points: OTHER THINGS
In this category, the judge starts with 3 points. He can add and subtract a point or two for any other reason except if, say, he hates your guts and wants you to lose, or you're his favorite member and wants you to win, or if you just bribed him with a cookie.
The average of all ratings is your score.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Just post your level code (IN [ CODE ] TAGS!!) here. You can edit it as many times as you want as long as it is in the same post, and not a new one, due to PC+++ing and confusion on that day where
HOW TO BE JUDGE (NEW RULES!)
Simply PM me for the position! To be a judge you must commit to the following
1) You must commit to finishing every level within a month
2) Every level you cannot play, you must send to the backup judge immediately
3) You MUST NOT QUIT HALFWAY THROUGH! >_>
You may start judging before the deadline end, but only if that person is absolutely done EDITING!
