You can't really affect me since I agreed with you before you even said so, and you actually mentioned you were agreeing with me and others of the same opinion earlier so I dunno. Really, the fact that you believe that means you're being affected, and that could affect things in future, even if not right now. It's nice to see that there's people being open about how this is for the fun and what not. While I'm glad MoD was only joking, I didn't find it funny. If the rate he was going at meant anything he would've cut his hand off by the time the results were announced. You can't exactly play SM63 with one hand and all that among other things you can't do with only one hand.

My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

I wonder if you took that the wrong way or the way I intended because I decided to indulge myself in a bit of dark humor myself. Well, that happened. Next thing you know a soda machine is going to crash through the roof and still be 100% functional despite crashing through a roof. I kind of want to see that actually, even if it's just a commercial. Considering how weird commercials have been and will be it would be a nice break from reality or something. So yeah, where are those others results? Were they just numbers at any given point? I know there's probably some people that can't possibly be online at this hour, but still. Ah well.

Edit: Although knowing this place they will be up before 48 hours end or else heads will roll. Preferably zombie heads.

Bowser Blazzard Castle

Fun:9.1/10 the level was very great,the temperature switching was a very good idea,the platforming here is in good amount,very good job.

Graphics:4/5 Good amount of decoration,and the tileset was good too.I liked the snow platforms in the ice part,and the way that you mixed the mushroom body with the vine is very cool.

Other:3.45/5

-1.5 3 crash warnings while loading the level.

+1 I loved the transition between the fire field and the bowser castle at the beginning.

+0.95 Nice hidden 1-ups.

Total: 16.55/20 Wow,great level, but try reducing the lag next time.


Ice Fire Temple

Fun:7/10 Very creative challenges that you put here,the switching of fire and ice was a very nice touch too,but there's some parts that need to be well-timed,and this is bad for some computers.

Graphics: 3.75/5 These frozen items at the beginning were very good,the tilesetting was great too,and there's a nice amount of graphics,the only problem that I see here is the lava and snow cutoff that you should fix.

Other:2.75/5

-0.5 Seriously,why do your level haves this lenght,it's completely unnecessary,since you have only used 3/4 of this lenght,try reducing it next time.

-0.25 In the third transition you can easily cheat by only pressing down while you are in the platform,skipping a lot of the challenges.

+0.5 No lag or loading time.

Total: 13.5/20 A very good level,but next time try checking your challenges and fixing the bugs.


Desert Skies

Fun: 5.5/10 The only thing that I can see in this level is basic platforming,but it's not that challenging,the lag ruined a lot of the fun too.

Graphics: 2/5 This level haves a lot of tileset, there's so much decoration too,but they don't fit together.The only part that I think is neat is the oasis one.

Other: 2/5

-1 Lag, and a crash warning in the second level transition.

Total: 8.5/20 I do still prefer your joke levels.


Bowser's forgotten castle

Fun 8.6/10 This level was very fun to play,especially the random block room,that added more difficulty to the level.But the ♥♥♥♥ quicksand and some hard jumps ruined the fun here.

Graphics 3.4/5 The tileset in some transitions was very nice they fit well together,but there's so much decoration in some transitions,and some parts that are poor in tileset.

Other 4.35/5

+0.5 No lag or loading time.

+0.35 Good placed checkpoints.

+0.5 The random block room. It's just AWESOME!

Total:16.45/20 This level was pretty good,especially his challenges.Nicely done.


Freezeflame Fortress

Fun:8.2/10 I'll judge the two together in the fun because they have the same amount of platforming in the two.They're good levels,nice challenges and some that are hard,incredible.I liked that block creatures in the both,I liked a lot of the challenges that you put around in the levels.The blosses are a good touch too,but in fact,the two are too easy.

Graphics:3.725/5

Flame fortress:3.9/5 The graphics here are almost perfect,The pictures in the fortress inside wall are amazing,and the tiling in the outside part were very cool too.

Freeze fortress:3.55/5 The graphics here are a lot plain in comparison with the other level,the tiling in some parts looked ugly,and in others was mediocre.

Other:3.9/5

+0.5 Both fortresses:No lag or loading time.

-0.35 Flame fortress:Some misplaced flames that the flame creatures throws.

+0.5 Both fortresses:You put blosses,they are a lot easy,but at least you put effort to make them.

+0.25 Both fortresses:I liked the wood stomping thing.

Total:15.825/20-->15.8/20 I do really think your levels are getting better,keep up the good work!


The Bowser Space Castle

Fun: 7.5/10 There's nice challenges here,very creative ones and hard one, I liked the idea of chosing one of the two sides.But there's some parts that were a bit frustating,like the metal cap part in the right side.

Graphics: 3/5 There's a regular amount of tileset and items,but some of them just look horrible together,the tiling was mediocre try next time mixing the tilesets.

Other:4/5

+1.5: Good musical choice,fits very well with bowser castle. (AKA:The Genso Suikoden one)

-0.5: A lot of useless signs,try next time moderating them.

-0: No loading time,but a bit of lag in some parts.

Total:14.5/20 Very good level,but next time try using other decorations and tileseting.


Sympathy for the devil

Fun:7.95/10 All the levels haves a regular amount of platforming,but as it's a storytelling level,the signs and the history distracted the player,making the gameplay appear more soft in some parts,but in other,especially part 2 and 4 the platforming is clearly visible.

Graphics:4.6/5 The graphics are almost perfect,liked a lot the way that you mixed the tiles,(in the first and the bonus level specially)the use of all the themes in one fitted very well together,what is hard.Good job.

Other:4.5/5

+0.5 All the levels:No lag or loading time.

+0.25 Levels 2 & 4:The music made a very fitting atmosphere,in the level 4 specially,looks like the music was interacting with the history,like a movie.

+0.75 All the levels:The history is very good,liked the way that you put Mario in the history.

Total:17.05/20 Great job,if you are expecting that you wouldn't win this,you are totally wrong.


Ice so dry it burts aflame

Fun: 8.5/10 I saee goode challenges in this level,good use of the invisible star and the metal cap,some stars were very fun to get,but there's others that were frustating.

Graphics: 3/5 Ok,the graphics are a bit confusing here,sometimes there's cutoff (especially with the lava in the second transition)and in other transitions the tileset was poor.

Other:4.5/5

+1 Good history.

+0.5 No Lag or loading time.

Total:16/20 Probably one of the best levels that I saw from you in super mario 63,nice work.


Bowser's Space Castle

Fun: 7.85/10 I liked your challenges,they were pretty fun,the idea of taking red coins through the level is great too.but there's some frustating parts,and you can easyly cheat through the level.

Graphics: 3.85/5 I liked a lot of the visual style of this level,great tileseting and good amount of graphics without letting it too overload,very good.

Other: 4/5

+0.5 This music for the beginning,it's just epic.

+0.5 No lag or loading time.

15.7/20 Whoa,this level really impressed me,I hope you get a place in the top six in this LDC,Keep up the good work!


Temperature Vengeance

Level 1:6/10 sigh,This level is a bit too plain, the only thing I see here are flame towers and a switch,but I liked a lot of these sand worms.

Level 2:7/10 The platforming here was way basic,but it's still way better than level 1,it's more challenging,and way better gameplay.

Graphics:2.95/5

Level 1:2.7/5 I think it's so much basic,the tileset was unfitting with the theme, and the lava with the sand looked ugly for me.

Level 2: 3.2/5 Was too basic with the tileset and the decoration too,but again,in comparison with the first it looks fine.

Other:2.65/5

+0.5 Both parts:No lag or loading time.

-0.35 Both parts:I think the switch parts are annoying,because everytime you need to press them twice.

-0.5 Both parts:The connection that you made between the two levels was strange.

Total: 13.1/20 Sorry,this level really didn't impressed me,I have seen a lot of better levels from you before.


Heat Wave

Fun: 6/10 Yeah,this level was average,there's not so much challenges or platforming,just normal tiling and enemies and a bit of platforms,there's also some hard jumps,that were very frustating sometimes.

Graphics: 3.65/5 Good amount of graphics here,good use of items and tileset,but there's some cutoff,like the snow in the airship,and the rocks in the lava.Also,the airshippart was a bit too plain,with less tileset than others.

Other: 2.95/5

-0.5 The first and the last sign were too explanning.Next time try don't putting all the history in one sign,also try not telling "the end" in a sign.

+0.45 No loading time but lag when you are next to the "Heat generator"

Total 12.6/20 Good level,but next time try putting more gameplay in itself.


Caged Oasis Redux

Fun 8.8/10 Since it's a reduced version of the original one,I think it's good.loved the pyramid inside part,was very challenging and fun,also it's great the way that you made when you exit the pyramid.

Graphics:2.5/5 I think the graphics in some parts are too plain,and in other does't make sense,like the floating pendulums and the lava in a desert level...

Other:3.5/5

+0.5 No lag or loading time.

Total:14.8/20 It's a good level,but try making things sense,especially in the graphics.


Cause and Effect ~ The Aftermath of Escapatory Activity From a Volcanic Facility

Fun: 4.65/10 There's only basic lava and thwomps,and nothing more.no enemies,and nothing really challenging.in terms of difficult this level was very easy.

Graphics: 2/5 There's no decoration and the tileset was a bit too poor,only the lava cubes around the plateau tile,and the red brick at the final.

Other: 2.75/5

-1: UNFINISHED.

+0.25 Yay,signs!

+0.5 No lag or loading time.

Total: 9.4/20 This level was average,try finishing it,putting decoration and challenges,and it will be very better.


Slippery Volcano

Fun: 1.5/10 This level isn't fun You only put random items and some tiles . Also I need to add that you can edit items settings,instead of only putting them and changing the size.

Graphics: 0.25/5 There's no decoration here,the items don't fit with the theme,and there's a lot of tile cutoff,that's just horrible.

Other: 1.75/5

-0.5 this part that is in the bottom of the volcano is unreachable ,causing unnecessary lag.

-0.75 the items don't fit with volcano or ice theme.

Total 3.5/20 Sorry,this level is just horrible,I don't see effort in it.Try playing some other levels from this LDC,maybe you get some inspiration.(But don't copy them!)


Bowser's Icy Stronghold

Fun:7.65/10 Good challenges in this level,the switch part was too classic for my tastes, but the silver star maze was very fun,There's some boring parts.There's also good placed checkpoints,but the last transition really disapointed me.

Graphics:3.3/5 The Ice in the first two transitions was good,the tileset here is neat,but in other transitions,no.The fire ones especially,they were so flat and boring,also,lava cubes just don't fit with the default lava.

Other:3.35/5

+0.5 No loading time or lag.

-0.15 For the enemy spam in the last transition.

Total:14.3/20 try putting a bit more of effort in this level,especially the flame part.


Final Fortress

Fun:9.35/10 Part 1: 9.6/10 This level haves a nice system,I liked a lot of the idea of repeating the section,to clear it another time,but more challenging.

Part 2: 9/10 The bullet bill challenge is very creative,was not so hard,but was challenging.The bowser in the final was a great bloss too,but in comparison to the part 1 this one is a bit more plain.

Graphics:3.6/5 Part 1: 3.5/5 The decoration is quite nice,and I see that you made everything to make it more classical as possible,like in super mario world.

Part 2: 3.7/5 The tileseting was a bit too basic in the beginning,but in the other rooms the bullet bills make everything better,the way that they are together,it's just beautyfull.

Other:3.75/5

-0.45 Part 1:Lag in some parts.

+0.5 Part 1 & 2:I liked the way that you connected the levels,good job.

-0.25 Part 2:When you enter in a transition,sometimes you are sent to the upper part of the level,making impossible to pass here.

+0.75 Part 2:I liked how you made the shooting flame bowser.

Total:16.5/20 Great level,just like your other ones.

Fun:8.75/10 There's a good amount of platforming,with good and creative challenges,the invisible star part was very nice.But it's too easy and the switch part wasn't that great.

Graphics:4.3/5 The graphics here are almost perfect,the tiling and that window background are incredible,but the last room with the sprite was disapointing.

-0.25 Meh,that ending...

Total:16.25/20 Very good level,I do only think that you focused more in graphics than in the challenges itself,but it's still a great short level.

Wow. Great show, great show. I just realized I only played the first part of Volkove's level entry, so that might've been why I thought it was so godly. Like what MoD said, the first part is great, the second part seems a bit lesser (but the bullet bills were quite nice).

Congrats to all entries and the top placings, I think Peter's really rising.

Also, MoD, don't be disappointed about second. I would take second any day, right now I only have one or two near-last places in my record. :P After all, I think you and Nwolf deserve a first-place joint placing. Really well designed levels from all of you, but especially Nwolf and Mod.

and of course, amp, who i really wish finished the series...

Yeah, he won the LDC, I won all the top scores. It's the closest we've been to a tie, except maybe the 16th LDC, and that was a different case; Volkove was trying for 5th, if he was really trying he'd have wiped the floor with me.

Edit: And I really am being kind of a spoilsport; I'm super happy Nwolf won. He's been busting his ♥♥♥ in LDCs and has had a hell of a journey to get here, one quite similar to mine. I'm happy he won, after all he's contributed, he deserves the recognition he's been working towards.
