Ok, I gotta say, both parts of your level were the same thing. That's bad.

Could've lengthened the level, deleted some of the scenery, and just used one Sling Star (You just have to increase it's power).

I have to say, your level was a little too long, beause it took FOREVER for your level to load. And you had lots of places were there was lots of lag (around 10fps). And using clouds as walls? That doesn't work either.

I liked the concept of how you made the level like that. But....on the first airship, if you fell off the "back" of it, you would land on the "front" of it. And on the other, the oppposite. Fall off the "front" of it and you'd land on the "back" of it.

A Leisurely Voyage - aznchau4ever
--------------
RATING: 16/20
--------------
FUN: 8/10
It was a pretty fun experience as a whole, and had an appropriate difficulty level and interesting challenges to boot. Some portions of the level ended up being more annoying than enjoyable (the massive swarm of bullet bills comes to mind immediately), though, and considering the level's difficulty, a checkpoint of some kind may have been beneficial.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4.5/5
Graphics are very well done as a whole; the outside view of the airship in particular looks wonderful, and there are no cutoff-based problems that I can recall either.
The only negative aspect I can think of is the presence of a few noticable areas where certain items are on the wrong layer, which tends to give a negative impact upon the level as a whole (shroom head near beginning, rock withinin the bridge to the airship, pipe in room, etc). Such small issues detract from the overall level somewhat, even if it generally cannot be helped due to the engine constraints (there are usually ways around it, though).
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3.5/5 (I don't know why there is so much here)
- It very clearly meets the contest's theme nicely. +1
- Overall use of varying items and such is also impressive. +1
- The overall story is a nice bonus as well; it adds... character, I guess. +0.5
- Secret endings are pretty awesome as well. +0.5
- The fact that enemies had the tendancy to be located almost next to doors proved rather annoying, as the first instinct would be to jump in order to avoid/defeat them (which forces you through a door, often unintentionally). -0.5
- In the initial power source room, falling into the lava turns the encounter into a game of luck, since the camera does not refocus until you land on something solid (yet are often forced to deal with bullet bills blindly despite this). Such a thing could have been avoided. -0.5
- In the initial room with lava, bullet bills from what I assume are supposed to be from the next room tend to leak over. It doesn't seem intentional, and even if it is, it just seems plain odd for enemies to leak off from offscreen without an explanation. -0.5
- Relying on the player's faith is a bad move in my opinion (in regards to not passing without both stars); considering the level is relatively linear anyways, alternative measures could have been taken. -0.5
- The room with the collapsing ceiling could have been designed better; beside the fact that it dragged you through the floor, resulting in a slow and laggy death, it is entirely possible to just run through the entire gauntlet before doubling back to retrieve the prizes, since it just continues past the floor. Once more, measures could have been taken to prevent both of these problems. -0.5
--------------
Although there are a few rough spots here and there, the level was well done overall.

Bowser's Airship Armada - Zunar
--------------
RATING: 12/20
--------------
FUN: 7/10
It was a fun experience at first, what with raiding varying airships and such, and the transitions were reasonably unique as well. The level of challenge was notable enough to make things enjoyable, although it became somewhat predictable as time went on.
The final stretch in particular was very anticlimactic and unfitting, plus ended up being frustrating due to continuous half-tile wide platforms to deal with.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
The armada of airships looked good at first, but the airship designs and tilesets used towards the middle and end became too unrealistic and unbelievable (blue castle stone doesn't fit in particular). The ending and the random obstacles floating in midair was also very sudden and bizarre.
Beyond that, it was relatively fitting (although relatively simple).
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 2/5
- The level fit the theme of the contest well. +1
- It was good to include a working checkpoint system. +0.5
- Forced damage is never a good thing, and there is no way to get the first silver star without taking damage (at least none I encountered after a dozen tries). -0.5
- Relying on the player's faith isn't a good move in my opinion; the fact that it is too easy to accidentally pass silvers stars (and passing even one will likely make the level incompletable) doesn't make for good design. -0.5
- Within the airship containing the 5th silver star, falling to the depths below basically trapped the player there without any way of getting back to the level or even dying (forcing the player to exit manually). An escape should always be present, even if it must be through death. -0.75
- The final climb up to the shine featured platforms that were not visible to the player due to being right on the level's border. Such an negative aspect should have been avoided, and it makes the level look impossible to the casual player. -0.75
--------------
It was decent, but ultimately nothing awe-inspiring. It was at its best during the early stages, but ended up getting weaker as the level progressed.
--------------
My Level - SuperSpongerific
--------------
RATING: 4/20
--------------
FUN: 3.5/10
The first part was OK, even if somewhat unusual, in terms of the enjoyment derived from it. The second part was what went wrong, however, as the section's excess flaws in design and glitchiness made things rather unbearable. The noticable lag in said second part (likely due to the lack of a level transition) didn't help either.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 1.5/5
It started out looking nice and detailed, and some item usage was creative. As a whole, though, there were numerous flaws that were apparent (cloud walls, for example). The problems became most apparent during the second part, where items were thrown in the middle of nowhere and the tilesets clashed badly. It certainly didn't look like an airship from the inside, and even the outside designs were debatable at best.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: -1/5 (yes, that is a negative score)
- Although in a rather basic way, the level did fit the contest's theme requirement. +0.5
- I question why you couldn't have been bothered with an actual name for the level, along with some proper capitalization and bracket usage. -0.5
- There are numerous ways to be forced out of the level's boundaries in the second part, primarily due to the flipping platforms as well as the vertical bridge platform. Such bridges don't function well as walls, and flipping platforms simply have to be used properly to prevent this from happening. Some simple testing would have revealed all these problems easily. -1
- Necessary pipes in the second portion that are completely hidden from view are little more than a frustration. The pipes are either hidden completely from view (such as the first pipe that lies where a bottomless pit would be), or are revealed only through a few green pixels and maybe a vague hint (the second pipe primarily). Such flaws detract from the level's value substantially. -1
- Traps that just trap the player, forcing them to exit the level manually, are rather silly considering that such a stunt would never be considered acceptable in an actual mario game. Something as simple as a pit of lava would be enough to at least provide a measure of escape. -0.5
- Relying on player faith is a poor design move as well; one way routes that can often be taken by mistake that prevents level completion should always be avoided. -0.5
- Reaching the 'engine' where the shine is doesn't seem to be possible, as the switch that normally performs this ends up bumping the player into one of the rock stalagmites to the side (maybe because of the floating stalactite in the middle of the path?). I ended up having to rely on the level's flipping platforms to even reach the necessary area to complete the level. -1
--------------
The review sums up everything that is to be said. Proper level testing would have likely eliminated at least half of these problems.
----------------------------
--------------
Skydye Airway - Avolerators
--------------
RATING: 7.5/20
--------------
FUN: 3/10
The level as a whole was mostly a massive slew of enemies and some basic obstacles platforming in the sky, and while it was appealing at first, it became predictable once the level went on (especially for such a great length of time). The noticable lag in most of the outdoor locations hampered the overall experience as well.
In several cases, being assaulted by enemies immediately after entering a new area (especially when jumping is not possible due to being forced to enter a door) adds to the trouble as well, since some leeway should have been given to prevent forced damage. Considering the extensive length of the level, a checkpoint or two would have been appreciated as well; having to repeat the entire trial in the case of even a single slip-up is rather aggravating, to say the least. I would have gotten sick of it and quit rather quickly if I didn't have to complete it for judging.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 1.5/5
Graphics were a mixed bag for the most part. Most of the airship designs were satisfactory (even if a bit strange at times), even if the windows used for the interior didn't fit too well for the interior. For the overall level, however, it feels that most of it was left for interpretation. While some aspects could be made out reasonably well (I assume the checkerboard platforms on mushroom stalks were meant to potray open sails), others simply appeared to be misplaced obstacles or platforms placed without the asthetics in mind. The overuse of cloud-based platforms in particular appeared extremely unnatural, and the fact that most (if not all) of the rotating blocks used default values didn't help either.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3/5
- The level fits the theme reasonably well, even if not completely. +0.5
- Multiple paths to take through the level offer some decent variety during multiple play attempts. +1
- Bullies placed randomly without anything for them to actually knock you into (generally lava) makes them completely ineffectual. The vast majority of bullies in the level fit under this category. -0.5
- In fact, the level tried to mix almost every enemy possible under the same theme (penguins, fish on dry land and ghosts randomly placed in particular stand out like a sore thumb), which seems rather sloppy. Some obstacles were also haphazard enough in placement and usage to fit under this category as well. -1
--------------
To be brutally honest, it feels rather amataurish as a whole. It tries to do too much at once, which is rarely, if ever, a satisfactory way to approach a level.
----------------------------
--------------
Two Airships - TheBetterGamer
--------------
RATING: 4.5/20
--------------
FUN: 1/10
Well... there wasn't all that much that could be said about enjoyment, since it was much too brief and only had a few enemies to present dangers to have any sort of satisfaction behind it. The shortly lived experience of switching between the front and back was the only enjoyment that came out of the level.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 1.5/5
They looked like airships on very basic levels, but that is all that can really be said since the level is much too short. I'm aware that the disabled coins/enemies were , but the fact that they didn't dissapear even when you collect /defeat them on the correct side makes for rather inaccurate visuals.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 2/5
- It fit the contest's theme on a basic level. +0.5
- Why stack so many FLUDDs together, when they serve no actual purpose? Only the hover type had any sort of use, and even then it was minimal. -1
- The fact that it is much too easy to forget collecting all the red coins in the first section makes it rather irritating in that one missed area that can easily be overlooked can prevent proper level completion. -0.5
--------------
I thought this level was meant to be a demonstration, not so much an actual submission. It certainly doesn't seem like a serious level considering the length and content, and if this truly is the case, this review wouldn't matter.
----------------------------
--------------
AIrship war - pokemonxd
--------------
RATING: 13/20
--------------
FUN: 8/10
I enjoyed the level overall, quite frankly. There were some suitable challenges and platforming (even if there were some minor flaws in some areas), which made for a fun experience. The enemies overall provided some threat, but the numbers often seemed either too extensive (to the point of 3-4 enemies being stacked on top of each other due to lack of room) to there being almost nothing at all when circumstances reveal otherwise. The checkpoint system helps a fair bit as well, even if there are a couple flaws with it (skips over one star, carries over excess goomba noise from one location).
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3.5/5
Graphics were solid overall; there wasn't much that was out of place, although there wasn't anything truly fantastic or mesmerizing either. The use of certain tiles within the airship didn't work out well, though (metal cage, boxes, switch-controlled blocks), and some inner locations (penguin ship and the final box containing the shine, mostly) didn't look right when just floating in the sky on its own.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 1.5/5
- The level fits the theme of the contest nicely. +1
- The decent (even if predictable) storyline was a nice touch. +0.5
- It would have been great if you capitalized the title properly. -0.5
- Either I am missing something vital, or there truly is no way to even get into the first airship without resorting to the checkpoint-based pipe. I assume you are supposed to use the cannon to boost yourself up, but it does not have enough power to reach that high, and bouncing on bullet bills doesn't work either. I believe this was an oversight. -1
- After the third star, you are supposed to jump... blindly, apparently. I was under the impression that there would be more than a single sling to land on. Some sort of indicator towards where one should jump (an arrow or a couple coins would have been enough) would have been appreciated. -0.5
- In regards to the final escape against the dark shroom, the entire final run can be easily completed by just mounting the moving platform mass itself. While the idea was creative, this seems like another oversight that could have been prevented. -0.5
- Despite the level being largely linear, one accidentally missed star guarantees that the level cannot be completed. Considering how the level is set up (particularly with the waypoint system), it wouldn't have been difficult at all to prevent these kind of mistakes from happening. Hell, even a simply pipe at the end allowing players to backtrack would have done a lot for professionalism. -0.5
--------------
It was a solid submission overall despite the occasional problems that came up. Perhaps a bit more testing was needed to ensure it was properly polished, but it was interesting regardless.
----------------------------
--------------
LDC Entry#6 - Kimonio
--------------
RATING: 13/20
--------------
FUN: 7.5/10
The level was interesting as a whole, possessing a variety of things to do, environments to explore and obstacles to bypass (even if the overall level was a bit... odd). My main two problems, however, are the fact that enemies were often clumped together in single sections rather than spread over an area as well as the fact that the middle portion of section 3 carried with it an enormous amount of lag, likely due to the sheer number of enemies and items involved in that entire portion overall.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3.5/5
The graphics overall were rather well done, as some particularly interesting creations were made that differ this submission from many others, and the effort overall was very impressive.
On the flip side, though, there were numerous instances of minor to moderate cutoff encountered in numerous areas, particularly with the surfaces of varying portions of water / lava cutting off too easily. Although it wasn't as bad as it could have been, it still detracted from the overall aesthetics.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 2/5
- The attachment to the contest's theme was weak at best; there was too little involvement from the 'airship' concept as a whole. -0.5
- To offset this, though, the story attached to the level was rather unusual and unexpected. +0.5
- At the end to the first part, continuing along the metal bridge forces you outside level boundaries. This is likely an oversight that could have easily been avoided by removing a couple metal bridge platforms. -0.5
- If you go back through the level transition in part 2, you will end up dropping into a backround-ish area that cannot be escaped. This can easily be done by accident, yet can be prevented. -0.5
--------------
The level was a bit awkward at times, but it was still interesting. Some additional polishing would have done a lot to improve it, however.
----------------------------
--------------
The Airship Rescue - Yoshi Boo 118
--------------
RATING: 15.5/20
--------------
FUN: 8.5/10
It was an interesting and enjoyable experience overall; simple and elegant, yet providing enough challenges to offer something extra along the way. It was also reasonably difficult for the most part with well balanced numbers of enemies, although being able to remain invisible (which basically means unkillable) for about half of the course was a bit of a disappointment.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3.5/5
Although it was rather plain for the most part (nothing truly 'wow'd me), it was reasonably functionable regardless. The main cutoff problem came from inside the jail cell, as the metal cage and staircase both stood out too much.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3.5/5
- The level fits the contest's theme well. +1
- While the boss fight was creative, the fact that nothing really stopped you from skipping it (and the final two stars) essentially relies on the player's faith rather than truly making them participate before advancing. -0.5
--------------
A very solid submission overall; well done.
----------------------------
--------------
Airmada - nin10mode
--------------
RATING: 13/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
Considering what was done with such a level overall, it could have truly been incredible. The numerous problems that have arisen, such as poorly positioned clusters of enemies, fatal situations that are inevitable without knowledge beforehand, varying bugs and glitches from more unique features and many other troubles have proven to be far more troublesome and irritating than fun. Such an entry has exhausted my patience numerous times, and was only completed due to the necessity of doing so; if efforts were taken to test the level and ensure it was a more enjoyable and smoother experience, it would have done remarkably better considering the potential it has. I would have stated such glitch-oriented issues under 'other things', but the number of problems are so numerous that it would take too long to write them all down, plus the combination of such elements detracts from the enjoyment of the level anyways.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3.5/5
To put it bluntly, the graphics were spectacular in most areas, but poor in others. There were numerous visual issues, including some rather noticeable cutoff, that were an eyesore and detracted from the experience as such.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3.5/5
- Fits the contest's theme very well. +1
- Very inventive use of music in the first portion with only activating the proper theme at a certain point. +0.5
- Some of the obstacles were rather unusual and imaginative, despite that many such features had visual or game play problems. +0.5
- This is supposed to be a submission for a level contest, not a mini-series. A submission that is too lengthy is just as much of a problem as one that is too short, if not more so. -0.5
- There were numerous instances of forced damage, and while the very first instance for the purpose of cutting off music was more or less necessary, the others could have easily been avoided. -0.5
- Is there any reason that there are 6 1-up mushrooms stacked on top of each other? Aside from giving me a headache from the static noises, anyway. -0.5
--------------
Considering all I wrote in the review itself, I ran out of things to say.

--------------
Mushroom Heights - Kirby_999
--------------
RATING: 13/20
--------------
FUN: 6.5/10
It was an interesting level design, particularly with the backdoor infiltration that was necessary. However, the level's length overall was disappointing in turn; it was over much too quickly.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3.5/5
There weren't any noticeable problems with cutoff or anything, and the background choice fit each every portion of the level reasonably well. At the same time, though, each portion within the airship seemed to be rather detached (rather than interconnected together), which detracted from the overall feel.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3/5
- The level fit the contest's theme reasonably well. +1
- Although it seems measures were taken to prevent this from being too much of a problem, being dragged outside the airship due to rotating platforms or moving blocks should still be avoided. -0.5
- The lack of overall direction was rather disappointing; it just seemed like a slew of random occurrences with an abrupt ending, and it was hard to get into it. -0.5
--------------
It was a decent experience, but a bit too plain and short overall.
----------------------------
--------------
Airship Battle - kirby859
--------------
RATING: 15/20
--------------
FUN: 7.5/10
It is intriguing how this level does so much without going through overextravagant methods; such simple elegance is quite likable. Some more enemies along with some more interesting obstacles would have improved things further, however.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4/5
Although there are some minor cutoff issues as well as some sections / designs not fitting as well as they could have, it was pretty solid visually.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3.5/5
- It fit the theme of the contest reasonably well. +1
- I figured that if changing fonts works via HTML, inserting images should as well. Very nice addition. +0.5
- The trash compactor was a nice idea, but such flipping platforms can easily cause glitches rather than their normal intended functions. Half the time, they sent me outside the level's boundaries instead of their proper location. -0.5
- I honestly do not understand what the 'boss' was supposed to be or what the point of that scene was even for. The level was better off concluded at the end of the section section in such a case. -0.5
--------------
Simple, yet functional; best way to summarize this.

The Ascension - marioiscool254
--------------
RATING: 16/20
--------------
FUN: 8.5/10
An interesting array of challenges and obstacles make for a fun experience. Although some portions would have been extremely aggrevating under normal circumstances (mostly the middle section revolving very quick moving blocks over lava), the presence of a hover fludd helps alleviate such issues to ensure the level retains an appropriate level of difficulty. The waypoint system helps too.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4/5
I'm dubious about the prospect of floating patches of cave, ice, lava and desert during the early portions, however, as they just seem randomly placed. Other than that, and the fact that the airship graphics clash somewhat, I have no problems.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3.5/5
- Although it claims to be an airship, I don't buy it considering how high-tech it is (not to mention the fact that it lies in outer space in at least one point). -0.5
- Very impressive item use as a whole, even if some of it was excessive (mostly the teleporters). +0.5
- Interesting story as well. +0.5
--------------
A very solid submission, even if an unusual one.
----------------------------
--------------
Airship Over Lava Seas - mds2005
--------------
RATING: 13/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
I assume this was a nod off to Super Mario Bros. 3 and the airship levels involved in that (what with the bombs and bullet bills). I suppose it does that reasonably well, although the level was rather short and consisted of the same general challenges throughout (mostly avoiding bullet bills). There isn't anything notably fun here, which is rather unfortunate.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
The graphics fit the necessary theme it meant to convey, but considering it recycled the same overall tileset and design for at least 80% of the level, it got stale rather quickly; put bluntly, there is too little variety present. Additionally, ice blocks don't really convey 'windows' very well.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 4/5
- The submission fit the contest's theme. +1
--------------
It was decent, but nothing spectacular. More could have been done with it for certain.
----------------------------
--------------
Ship Below - Buffooner
--------------
RATING: 16.5/20
--------------
FUN: 7/10
This entry certainly was interesting overall with the story and such. However, the level consisted of mostly the same thing: basic platforming and jumping, and not much else worth noting, and while it was somewhat fun, it wasn't really amazing either. The only truly interesting obstacle was the red coin 'minigame', which was more frustrating than fun (at least the hover fludd helped here).
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4.5/5
The pure black backround was an interesting approach, and it worked out very nicely for simulating darkness as a whole. However, while it looked good, there was a lack of variety in the tilesets for the most part, which the black backround might have actually contributed to.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 5/5
- It fit the theme of the contest in a less expected manner. +1
- I figured that if changing fonts works via HTML, inserting images should as well. Very nice addition, even if the hint wasn't very valuable (since a ground pound worked just as well). +0.5
- Solid usage of varying items and the like. I don't understand the point of that blue block... thing after the water section, though. +0.5
- Why have a bully on the ship that cannot actually do any sort of harm? -0.5
- Interesting alternate path and ending. +0.5
--------------
Very good entry; this will place in the top 3 for certain.
----------------------------
--------------
Iggy Attack - Muffin
--------------
RATING: 11/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
It was mostly a slew of enemies along with some basic platforming that cut off rather abruptly. It was OK for the most part, and provided some fun, but there was nothing worth mentioning at all. It was too much of a straight run while defeating bunches of clumped enemies and jumping a few platforms.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
While everything looked decent, the fact that the same tiles (wooden brick and wall tile) were recycled for over 80% of the level makes it seems much too plain, even with the additional items and such mixed in.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 2/5
- Fits the contest's theme. +1
- Interesting use of floating platforms and their slow falling speed. +0.5
- Level cannot be completed in its current state, and simply looks incomplete to boot. The player isn't in the correct starting position either, unless the intention is to start in the air just above the shine itself and not at the castle. Such problems should have been addressed before submitting this. -2.5
--------------
Either this was submitted prematurely or something went wrong with the code, because it certainly isn't complete in its current form.
----------------------------
--------------
A Glimpse of the Enemy - Krazy321
--------------
RATING: 16.5/20
--------------
FUN: 7.5/10
The level was quite fun overall, for the most part. The main problems ended up kicking in after the first part, though, as the significant lag during the beginning of part 2 slowed the rising process significantly while interfering with gameplay, and some of the obstacles afterward with moving/crushing blocks were questionable at best.
The boss fight was questionable in particular, as the laborious task of actually getting high enough not once, but three times in a row gets irritating after a while. To make matters worse, the fact that the switch mechanism seemed to backfire a lot (through forcing Mario to the side instead of to the proper room), especially on the third hit, was especially troublesome.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4.75/5
Aside from a couple minor inconsistencies here and there, the level was very well designed graphically, and was just a notch or two below being flawlessly perfect.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 4.25/5
- It definitely fit the contest's theme. +1
- The story behind it was pretty good as well. +0.5
- While the toy ship idea for a side quest was inventive, the simple fact that they were largely discovered through blind luck (eg: found only by falling blindly, which would be a recipe for death in any other situation) isn't very appealing. +0.25
- While the falling block trap in area 2 was creative, it didn't play out well at all. Being crushed generally just shifted you to the side of the block (maybe the top), or forced you out of the level's boundaries to die that way. It certainly didn't seem to work as intended. -0.5
--------------
Even with the minor flaws that came about, it is still one of the best this contest has to offer.
----------------------------
--------------
My Level - hugemariofan
--------------
RATING: 4/20
--------------
FUN: 1.5/10
It ended way too quickly and in a very unsatisfying and anti-climatic manner, and had no real obstacles worth mentioning. It was done after a bit of jumping made even less challenging through the fludd.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 1.5/5
The excess use of clashing tilesets that don't mix together combined with very blatant cutoff problems shows the lack of effort in this area.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 1/5
- There was no real airship; a single propeller and a few signs doesn't make it the truth. -0.5
- I question why you couldn't have been bothered with an actual name for the level. -0.5
- The excess caps lock and atrocious spelling/grammar could have easily been avoided with some effort as well. -0.5
- Big bullies don't work with such log bridges; a single test run would have revealed this flaw. -0.5
--------------
It doesn't seem like much effort went into this entry, and the score reflects this.
----------------------------
--------------
Airship Attack! - Niklaw
--------------
RATING: 13.5/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
While the airship exploration in itself was decent, that is all there was to the level. That and a few isolated enemies, which aren't enough to provide a true gaming experience.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4/5
Some of the methods used are rather unusual, yet creative (brick flags are kind of cute, and using basic tiles to replicate basic furnishings was a nice move as well), and there isn't any cutoff oriented problems. Despite this, however, the inside of the airship in particular seems too cluttered and unrealistic.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3.5/5
- It fit the theme of the contest. +1
- Despite the claim that the first level was only meant to show the outline of the airship, it was still submitted as being playable (despite there being no clear way to actually proceed). A simple pipe and a sign would have been more than sufficient as a sort of continuation mark. -0.5
--------------
It would have probably been better if it had some greater depth and length, but it is too brief to truly be satisfying enough.
----------------------------
--------------
Airship Chase - Superyoshi
--------------
RATING: 15/20
--------------
FUN: 6.5/10
While it was decent, there wasn't enough challenge or worry to be noteworthy, and the empty areas combined with the somewhat short level made the entire experience pass by too quickly. After all, about a third of the level was spent waiting in an airship without doing anything else, which I feel says a lot.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4/5
What was present was pretty good, and the mixing of blue and green bricks mixed together created a nice effect. Clouds tilted at such odd angles aren't really believable, though, and there still wasn't enough that was wow-worthy to make graphics truly excellent.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 4.5/5
- Fit the theme of the contest. +1
- The final 'escape' scene was rather creative; well done with that. +0.5
--------------
It was nice while it lasted, but probably would have been a lot more worthwhile if it lasted longer and had something extra to it. It was done well regardless.
----------------------------
--------------
Bowser Jr.'s Airship Armada - alucardx60
--------------
RATING: 12/20
--------------
FUN: 6.5/10
The portions with little more than bullet bills almost flooding the screen and eliminating all other enemies were rather overwhelming and excessive, and the fact that the second section was full of lag due to the lack of a level transition was a major problem as well. These two problems are what hurt this portion of the score the most; I had no issues with the rest of it.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3.5/5
Graphics were interesting for the most part, and the pipe systems in particular looked impressive. The airships all consisted of the same single type of tile, though, and appeared largely plain and generic as a result. Some of the designs used for cloud formations and airship designs seemed a bit too difficult to believe on top of this.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 2/5
- It fits the theme of the contest. +1
- The first portion cannot technically be completed, as trying to collect the shine sends you into another rotating platform, only to get squished and have the collection scene canceled. This didn't seem intentional. -0.5
- Judging by the fact that you start very close to the shine, I can safely assume that the start position was never properly set for the second part. -0.5
- Simply having bullies in place for the sake of it makes little sense; they just end up being a waste of a sprite if they pose no threat and cannot actually be defeated. -0.5
- Running almost all of the sign content through a simple spell checker would have eliminated most of the typo-oriented problems there as well. -0.5
--------------
It could have had more potential, but some additional testing was necessary to complete such a submission in full.

I must admit, this was actually quite an interesting level! Although the only problem I had was the fact that you didn't piece it together quite as nicely as you could have. Finely made, interesting plot, nicely done.It was very fun, it had little lag, but of course, you and I both know that this "level" is so unnecessarily long, I think it could almost be considered a mini-series. Sometimes, the level was so confusing, I just decided to wing it and use my own methods to pass certain parts. Especially the end, where whenever I hit the button, I would die by being crushed, so I used my own way of getting to the next part. >_>
