18th Level Designer Contest

Here's an idea, but it probably sucks.

We've had LDCs in the past where not all the levels have had equal amounts of judgings, like some will have only 3 judgings for it and some will have 4 and some may only have 2, but they're still all mixed and we still have the results from them.

If we're still struggling to get the results through before Friday (which would be pretty bad tbh) then why don't we just stick to the judgings we already have and ask the other judges to PM DarkBlaze on what they've already judged and just get the results from that? If that doesn't work, I'm still up for quick backup judging and if it's only the last page that should take me about a day at most. Probably more likely an hour or two.

But yeah, this is getting ridiculous now. Nan's had a fair amount of time even considering he didn't find out he was backup judging straight away and Kevin's had since before the deadline even just to judge those entries that were named "definite version" or something like that.. let alone the following 4 weeks...

Brando's LDC starts by Friday and if we don't have results by then we're going to have problems.

2 things.


1.) THE 19THLDC STARTS THIS FRIDAY! I'm not even ready. Joking, I'm extremely ready!
2.) This happened with the 16thLDC. The judgings weren't finished but the 17thLDC was already posted. So no problem.

An average is an average. (x+y+z)/3, 2(x+y+z)/6. If you get 1 hard question wrong out of 4, that's the same as 25 uneasy questions out of 100.
Can't we just use the statistics now and average it out? Yes, everyone's opinions are different, but that's been a problem since the first LDCs that I don't think we've cared about until recently. I don't think the other entrants honestly care if we have everything either. Even I'm growing impatient, so I guess you guys have until the end of Thursday to post you goddamn judgings.


As for everyone questioning Brandon's hosting capabilities, his attitude is very different from what he usually shows. He is a noted designer from the early days, so if you have a problem, consult his level topic.

I was just about to send you the results, MoD, and.... My computer crashed. It won't turn on. I brought it to a store to get it fixed, but it won't be back for a few more days, so feel free to disclude me once again. Sorry so hard.

There are things called other computers, smartphones, and gaming consoles with internet connections.

I think your IP is set according to your network connection regardless of device used to connect, unless you go in and muck around with it manually.
