Newbies haven't really shown any potential, so it wouldn't be good to choose them. And if you choose them, :o_O: to you.

Unless you have proof, its pretty useless to argue.

However, I do like the idea of some new judges. The line-up is awfully repetitive. Veteran, veteran, mod, veteran... That's boring by now. I want to see other opinions. !?! is already a judge, and I'm pretty interested in seeing how well a new(technically) user judges.
We'll let this serve as a game to see if the above quote is true or not, if Shade agrees with me to give you a shot. ;)

Usu, I have only been on the forum Since the middle of October, and I didn't know there even was a level designer contest. Yes, it was because Remnant couldn't judge and all, but I was 100% newbie, and I was picked to judge. And you know what, I think I did a fine job. There is potential in everyone, Usu. You don't have to be a mod or representative to be a judge.

And now then, you WERE here before October. I remember. You actually got into the community. That's what mainly got you the spot. You deserved it. You actually had potential, and you showed it.

...And you got selected in Early December.

Then, newbies don't really show much potential, so we doubt them. Especially SMM639 for this position. He hasn't really shown a review (This was the same case of Saxman. However, he actually put good levels in the portal) and I haven't seen any of his levels.

And...It's just pretty weird. He says he's stalked this forums SINCE AUGUST. It's just...Weird. I can't say he's lying, but there's no proof he's saying truth, either.

I mean, would be nice to go out of the routine for once, but...We would kinda go better with +1 month and a half olders...They're simply not new and have some experience on this...

Re: 11th Level Designer Contest

Anyone can say they'll be a good judge. Sax was a judge because we were desperate for a position, he volunteered, and he appeared capable of doing the job successfully.

As for the repetitiveness of judges that ninny pointed out, I think it's fine that Veterans and Mods continue judging. This contest isn't to see how many members can get to judge because they want to. The contest is about making levels and getting them judged. We need those we can trust to do the job. So if we say no to someone because we just feel someone else is better capable to do the job, don't get peeved about it. It's not because you've proven you aren't capable--it's because you haven't proven that you are capable. Also remember that anyone has the potential to become a veteran. My best suggestion if you want a role as a judge, is to go make yourself well-known around the forums. Use chat, post in topics that you think you can contribute much to, etc. Even if you aren't that quite good a level designer, if people recongnize that your opinion is valuable, then if you sign up to be a judge, you'll likely be one of the top considerations.

For the record, none of that really has anything to do with how long you've been a part of the forums.
