[Here Is The Inserted Name] - samgamereviews
--------------
RATING: 15/20
--------------
FUN: 10/10
I actually really enjoyed this.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4/5
There were no major graphical errors that I saw; I only found cutoff once (except for the intentional cutoff). Tile choice and placement was good. However, you lacked a wide variety of enemies and yellow coins.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 1/5
-3 Level submitted at deadline was impossible.
-1 Minor lag.
+1 Signs are funny.
+1 "Hi" formed from jungle tiles was very clever.
--------------
This level would have been an 18/20 if it wasn't for the fact that it was impossible. So, great job! Try to use a wider variety of enemies and yellow coins in future levels.

Mario's Final Quest - megamario1996
--------------
RATING: 12/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
This was not bad. It got a little redundant after a while though; not a lot of new things, just walking and jumping and killing enemies. Not a whole lot of clever platforming.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
There was some cutoff; also not a lot of tile variation, meaning that you used the same few tiles in each tileset for much of the level. Decoration was good, but a wider variety of enemies and more yellow coins would have made it better.

This was not at all bad for a newbie. With time, you could be a great level maker.

The Final Shine - Avolerators
--------------
RATING: 16.5/20
--------------
FUN: 9/10
I really enjoyed this. Clever platforming and great use of items kept this one interesting.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 4.5/5
Tile choice and variation was good. Item usage was fabulous! Great job! No cutoff or other errors. The only reason why I'm not giving you 5/5 is because you didn't use yellow coins.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 3/5
-1 Minor lag.
+1 Great item usage warrants extra point.
--------------
A really solid level, Avo. Maybe your best yet! Nice work!

The Silver Stars of Salvation - nin10mode
--------------
RATING: 12/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
This was not bad, but I did feel that it got somewhat repetitive, and there wasn't a whole lot of clever platforming. And the castle was more tedious than fun.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
There was tile variation and a wide variety of items. However, I felt that the items and tiles weren't balanced. Sometimes there were too many items, sometimes not enough, sometimes none; sometimes there were no tiles, sometimes tiles seem bare, sometimes tiles seemed crowded with items. You also didn't use yellow coins.

OTHER THINGS: 3/5

This was not bad, but could also use work. Try to work on balancing your items and tiles better, and using a consistent amount of each throughout. Not to say that you can't have variation, but the way you used them, the level almost felt chaotic.

The Last Shine - Kimonio
--------------
RATING: 6/20
--------------
FUN: 4/10
The level in itself was not terrible, but the things listed below severely limited my ability to enjoy this.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 2/5
Tile selection wasn't great; there was little variety. Not a lot of "curves." Item placement was not great either; for example, some of the bone platforms by the silver star in the brick box could be seen through the tiles, and the water was not joined well in that section. Could also have used more enemies, decorations, and yellow coins. There was also some tile cutoff.
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 0/5
-1 Lag
-1 No clear indication of how to get to cave.
-1 Fake metal platforms unnecessary; led to frustrating deaths. The whole thing with the Superstar and the Goomba's Quest was kind of bad, because there should have been more than just signs telling you to go to and fro, since signs could be disobeyed. There was really no need for me to go back for the Superstar unless you give me a reason.
--------------
This level, while not terrible, needs a lot of work. Sorry.

Space Colony - Krazy321
--------------
RATING: 19/20
--------------
FUN: 10/10
This may have been the most fun I've ever had playing an SM63 level.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 5/5
Perfect. Great tile selection and variety, awesome use of items; can't think of anything bad to say about this!
--------------
OTHER THINGS: 4/5
+1 Originality
--------------
I was a little worried I wasn't going to be able to play this, because the flash kept crashing when I tried to load it on Sheezy. However, it worked on Newgrounds, and boy am I glad it did! This was certainly the most original and ingenious take on 24murph's start! Great fun the entire time! I would not be surprised if this took the gold…and deservedly so! Great work! XD

Yoshi Boo 118's Entry - Yoshi Boo 118

RATING: 11/20

FUN: 6/10
This was not bad, but not very interesting or original either. Good, but nothing special.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 2/5
OK. There was a fair deal of tile cutoff. At some points, especially leading up to the silver star in the box thing, the tile selection was great; at other times it was fair at best. Item choice and placement were OK, but you need more yellow coins and at times the level felt kind of bare due to a lack of items.

This was not bad for your first LDC entry, but definitely could use improvement. However, with practice, future entries could be very good.

Darkness of the Shine Sprite - Kirby_999

RATING: 12/20
--------------
FUN: 6/10
While a good level, it wasn't anything special. Not too many very interesting parts.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
Not too bad. Tile choice and placement was pretty good, although that castle could have had some windows. Item placement was OK; I thought you had too many bullet bills and not enough of the other enemies, not to mention there could have been more yellow coins. Yellow coins should be found pretty consistently throughout a level.

This was not too bad. I just didn't think it was anything special. Nice work, but definitely could use improvement.

The Silver Shine - Buffooner

FUN: 9/10
This was a lot of fun! Wasn't incredibly interesting (costing you that extra point), but certainly did not get repetitive.

GRAPHICS: 5/5
Excellent! Great tile choice and placement! Items were not underused nor overused, and placing was great! Also *gasp*, you use yellow coins!

FUN: 7/10
This wasn't bad, but not very interesting or original either.
--------------
GRAPHICS: 3/5
OK. Your tile selection was not bad but could be better; be sure to use variety in choosing tiles. Also, the floating castle looked odd. The level needed more enemies and yellow coins, I thought; it seemed kind of bare, especially to the right of the start.

This was not bad. Try being a little more creative with your levels and also work on the graphical stuff I discussed above.
