When I read the first sign, I was pumped. This sounded like an epic storyline. When I ended it, all I could do was *facepalm* Bad way to end this level. >_>

I had more content planned for the second part initially, but I had to whip it together in about 10 minutes tops considering how rushed I was. That likely explains the abrupt ending, when I had something better in mind.
I have something much better planned for the next contest, and this product most certainly isn't subject to the same treatment. You may be interested in playing that one out, even if you aren't judging.

Otherwise, I doubt my judging was that bad. I pointed out flaws and such, yes, but I felt I was too generous with scoring in reality. I doubt I will be judging again anytime soon regardless.

What was fail about my commenting exactly?

Nothing, just brutal.

I wasn't under the impression that rarely scoring below 13 was all that brutal.

Volcove about your comment of the first ship of my level, all you have to do is fire the cannon as soon as you get into it. You don't even have to move it's position. Maybe that's why you couldn't get into it. Or it could have been a glitch. I don't know. I appreciate your comments of improvement though. Next time I'm DEFINITELY spell checking. Maybe I could have gotten an extra 1 point on the average.

Oh; I wasn't aware that those window tiles weren't solid. There is another, solid tile that looks nearly identical to it, and it is also encountered much more frequently. I still would have deducted half a point since it is not clear that one can enter that way; it looked like a wall to me, and in normal circumstances firing into a wall is a death sentence.

I probably should've made it clear in the beginning about that. But at least I did better then I thought I did. I wasn't last.

Cool, thanks for posting that, but I couldn't find Volcove's comments on my level.

Comments look good. One thing I wanted to say about my level. I was criticized for random tileset usage at the beginning. I guess I should've realized that this would happen. The thing is, this is the final level in my series before the boss (which I still haven't made XD ), so I wanted to take little pieces from each of the previous levels and open the level with that, like what Runouw did with the one section of Bowser's Castle in SM63. But I realize now that that was a mistake.

I have a sort of idea... can I adapt something I wrote for The Runouw.Com Conspiracy and make it to fit the topic, since only Mic has seen it? It'll barely resemble the original, just the sort of ideas.
