Anywho..

Judgings: show
Karyete
Fun:6 out of 10
A quite fun small level. The inclusion of a challenge was nice, but ultimately, it's on the short side and doesn't really provide enough difficulty to warrant another playthrough.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
There was no cutoff, and the decorations were nice. Nearing the end however, it seemed that the effort you put into the detail earlier on wasn't there.

Other: 2.5 out of 5
+1 No lag…
-1…except that you caused adobe player to crash a few times when going through a particular transition.
-0.5 There wasn't much sky to the level.

13/20
Overall comment: It's a good premises for a level, but there just wasn't enough of it. If you had expanded upon the level, particularly the sky, it would be have been better.

King
Fun: 8 out of 10
It was a nice change of pace, and combined with great level design and the flying cap I really enjoyed this level. You only lost mark because of the difficulty near the end. It ended up being frustrating and annoying.

Graphics: 5 out of 5
The attention to detail here is outstanding. The placement of the different tiles, and all the decorations were nice. The switch between the two tilesets was a little odd, but you managed to merge them as best as you could.

Other: 5 out of 5
+1 for extras - secret shine, a few odd signs which were just fun to read
+1 loaded fine, and no lag.

18/20
Overall comment: I thoroughly enjoyed this level, even with that frustrating end bit.

Chessplayer pt.1
Fun: 1 out of 10
It just wasn't very interesting. You went up a mountain.. and then what? You just stop without any indication if there is more to the level.

Graphics: 2 out of 5
There was some noticeable cutoff, and the tile placement was basic

Other: 1 out of 5
-1 no end
+1 loaded fine, no lag
-1 glitched tile, and message asking for help.
-1 very short

4/20
Overall comment: This just felt very unfinished and the lack of effort showed throughout.

Chessplayer pt.2
Fun: 5 out of 10
Much better than part 1, but it was very much on the same level. The inclusion of using enemies as things to jump on was nice, but you slightly overused it.

Graphics: 2 out of 5
There was a complete lack of decoration. I know that this was in the sky, but some more could have been done. There also were out of place objects - see tick tock clock

Other: 5 out of 5
+1 no lag or loading up issues
+1 multiple routes and shines

11/20
Overall comment: There certainly was more effort in part 2 than in part 2, but the overall experience wasn't that great. If you had included a few more enemies and maybe some tiles it would have been better.

Overall score:
7.5/20

Master1.0 pt.1
Fun: 5 out of 10
Your approach to level design is different to say the least. It wasn't as straightforward, and I liked it like that, but it just wasn't as fun. Searching for a pipe, and reading a story which honestly wasn't very interesting, just became a nuisance.

Graphics: 3 out of 5
It looked nice in some parts, and the effort was obviously there, but the tile changes looked horrible. Lots of them just looked like they were put there randomly, and it just didn't seem flow very well.

Other: 5 out of 5
+ 1 loaded fine with no lag..
-1 but there was some lag in parts
+1 for effects and secrets
+1 for more effects and secrets

13/20
Overall comment: I was very impressed by the amount of things you've managed to put into this level. They were very nice, but I think if more of a focus had been put on platforming and gameplay it would have been better to play.

Master1.0 pt.2
Fun: 7 out of 10
I thought this was an improvement over the first part. The level of effort is outstanding, like the first, and this time it didn't seem like the signs were as much of a nuisance. They still slowed down the level, but they were quick reads rather than conversations. More platforming was good, but I don't think your actual level design was that great so it lost a few marks there

Graphics: 3 out of 5
You had the same problem I mentioned in the first part. There are just too many different tilesets put together, and to me it doesn't flow very well.

Other: 5 out of 5
+1 for effects and general feel of the level
+1 no lag, or start up issues

15/20
Overall comment:
This level was more fluid than the last. I think you need to focus on more platforming and Mario type gameplay, but for what it's worth you did a brilliant job here.

Overall 14/20

Nworlds
Fun: 7 out of 10
That was quite fun. It wasn't anything particularly memorable, but it was fun while it lasted.

Graphics: 3 out of 5
There was nothing striking about the level. Everything fitted perfectly, and you made good use of some scenery.

Other: 4 out of 5
+1 no lag, or slow loading times
-1 checkpoint doesn't work that well
+1 extra exit that provided some challenge

14/20

Overall comment: It was a fun and simple level. If it was expanded upon, with a few more concepts it would be even better.

Blue Fanged Bat
Fun: 6 out of 10
It was very short, but well designed. There just wasn't enough of it for it to be very fun.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
Nice use of tiles and scenery, and the water, while didn't add much, was a nice addition.

Other: 2 out of 5
-1 lag in parts

12/20
Overall comment: If you had continued with this level, and expanded upon it the level would have been brilliant. Sadly, due to its short length it wasn't long enough to be that fun.

M M M M M MARIO
Fun: 4 out of 10
I found this level to be extremely dull, and with no way of getting to the exit without looking at the level first through the designer or finding the secret pipe by chance it just wasn't that fun.

Graphics: 2 out of 5
Uninteresting use of tiles, and constant tile changes.

Other: 3 out of 5
+1 no lag or slow startup
- 1 sky was very lacking

9/20
Overall comment: This level was just not very interesting. There was no significant platforming sections that looked liked they had effort in them, and if you missed a red coin there was no way of getting back without going all the way around, and then going all the way round again to get to the next part. I think just an A to B level, with red coins, would have been much better.

DarkBlaze pt.1
Fun: 6 out of 10
There was some good platforming in this, but it became tedious when looking for the last few red coins when there was no indication where they were.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
Nice use of tiles, but the scenery did seem like it was lacking something.

Other:3 out of 5
+1 no lag
-1 short

13/20
Overall comment: I think if you had included some hints as to where the red coins were, and had not put the shine at the start it would have been more fun. I don't really want to have to backtrack.

DarkBlaze pt.2
Fun: 6 out of 10
The enemy spam was not appreciated very much. It didn't make it harder, just very annoying. Luckily it didn't slow down the level at all. The openness I think worked with this level, and added to it, but a simple sign saying that there were 8 red coins would have been nice, especially as many other users put more than 8 red coins. It's just that I didn't really know when to go back to the start to get the shine.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
Mostly flat terrain, and while there is lots of scenery, it does overcrowd the level a bit.

Other: 3 out of 5
+ 1 no lag or startup issues
- 1 no sky in this part, and very little sky in the first part.

13/20
Overall comment: There was some good bits in this level, but it was mostly dominated by something. There was just a little too much. I think a level without something to collect may have been more fun.

13/20

Moy
Fun: 6 out of 10
There was some quite good platforming sections, especially in the second half, but it was just way too slow to be fun. If you also include the signs which, while tell a thought out story, just slow down the level even more. I appreciate the amount of effort in this level, because it shows, but it just didn't turn out very fun.

Also, boos with cannons and a moving block just becomes frustrating when you factor in how hard it becomes and how slow it is to restart.

Graphics: 3 out of 5
This is very hard for me to mark as it has some great looking sections as some ones which, through no fault of your own as you couldn't do anything else other than leave it out i.e the tree, come off as looking a bit off. Some of the tile changes didn't seem to go very well either.

Other: 4 out of 5
-1 took awhile to load, and lagged in places
-1 no refills of water for F.L.U.D.D
+2 The scale and effort towards this level was so huge you get bonus marks for it.
+1 for effects

13/20
Overall comment: You did so much for this level and I want to give you loads more marks for it because I think you deserve it, but I can't.. The level(s) just became too choppy with all the signs, the lag, and the waiting for it to load. I think you did an amazing job with this level simply because you were able to pack so much content into it and not make it feel like it was dragging on, so please don't feel disheartened with this score.

~MP3 Amplifier~
Fun: 8 out of 10
I thought this level was quite fun to play. It had some nice platforming, and was generally fun. My only problem was there was no way to go back if you had missed a silver star(which I very nearly did).

Graphics: 4 out of 5
There were a few too many tileset changes here. I can understand snow(it being cold really high), but including to jungle tileset and the cave tileset as well didn't make much sense to me.

Scenery was very well placed though, and while there was quite a bit of flat land, the tile forming was very well done.

Other: 2 out of 5
-1 startup was slow and there was a little lag in places

14/20
Overall comment: You did very well here. I just think that with fewer tile changes, and less lag would make this level great.

SuperMIC pt.1
Fun: 6 out of 10
It was very slow. I liked the inclusion of the story but I don't really want to have to read every sign just to progress. It felt very RPG like, but as a platform game it came out as a little tedious.

However, there were some clever and really fun parts and I applaud you for that.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
Very nice. Your attention to detail was great, and the extra tilesets mostly flowed well. (the exception of the icetileset that seemed a little out of place.

Other: 3 out of 5
-1 slow startup
+1 for story
+1 for effects
+ 0.5 for extras…
-0.5 but they didn't all work properly
-1 Impossible to complete

SuperMIC pt.2
Incomplete

-2 from score

11/20
Overall comment: I think if you had just left this entry as a standalone level, your score would be higher. Your second level was just so broken…

I enjoyed your first part though. The boss, the platforming a gameplay were great. A little less story, or at least story that is optional (as you have to stop to read the signs to progress), and I would have enjoyed it more. Remember however, that this is just a personal taste and that other people will enjoy stories in levels.

Pencilmaster
Fun: 4 out of 10
There was very very little to do here

Graphics: 2 out of 5
Very nice use of tiles, but it was just lacking. As the rest of the level was made up of clouds, it was very bare.

Other: 2 out of 5
-1 Earth part was tiny
-1 very short
+1 no lag or issues when starting up

Gmdragon
Fun: 6 out of 10
Any level that requires me to go into the level designer to check where a red coin is, just becomes frustrating. I don't want to restart a level where I have to collect red coins as then I have to do it all again.

However, there were some good parts like the red coin under the ice. I thought that was well executed. Also, there were some good platforming sections. Not all of it was brilliant, but it was good.

Graphics: 2 out of 5
It was pretty basic in terms of tile usage - very flat surfaces. Also, you changed the tileset loads of times, and it didn't flow very well. There was also a little cutoff.

Other: 0 out of 5
-1 very little to do with sky
+1 no lag, or loading issues.
- 1 off screen items
-1 you say there are 12 red coins, but there are then two at the boss, then the shine doesn't appear.
-1 no way to go back if you miss red coins for some places

8/20
Overall comment: For a red coin level, a lot was done very well, it's just those other parts that bring it down. With less hidden coins, and a way to get missing ones I think this would have been much better.

SuYo1141
Fun: 8 out of 10
The level stroke a nice between earth and sky, and the platforming sections were very good I feel.

Graphics: 2 out of 5
It was extremely bare. The tile placement was good, but there was very little scenery and the sky section lacked something...

Other: 4 out of 5
+1 no lag, loading time was quick

16/20
Overall comment: I thought this was a very nice level. It was simple, but very enjoyable I thought.

Oranj
Fun: 7 out of 10
There were some extremely good sections in this level. Platforming was good, and the level design was good too. You just lost a few points

Graphics: 3 out of 5
Good use of tiles and scenery, but it was the change of tilesets that brought you down a bit.

Other: 2 out of 5
-1 starts in the wrong place
+1 no lag or loading issues
+1 nice secrets
-2 not finished

12/20
Overall comment: Despite this not being finished, it was still a very good level. You execution was nice.

bowsernotcool
Fun: 7 out of 10
Pretty simple level, that had some nice fun sections. Nothing more, nothing less.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
Nice use of scenery, the the tile use, while flat, was quite good.

Other: 2 out of 5
-1 startup was a little slow, and there was little lag

13/20
Overall comment: There was nothing much wrong with the level, it just didn't do loads with it. If you include more hills, and expanded upon this it could be even better.

The Masked One
Fun: 4 out of 10
I didn't really find this level that fun. The change of scenery and different types of gameplay were too quick and not used very well.

Graphics: 2 out of 5
The tile set changed way too much. There was no explanation, just a different tileset. That really brought this down. The use of decoration was nice though.

Other: 3 out of 5
+1 no lag, or startup issues
-1 did not follow the theme very well.

9/20
Overall comment: The level just changed too much too often. If you had kept it as one tileset, with some good gameplay it would have been better.

Fun: 5 out of 10
Even with F.LU.D.D , this level just seems poorly constructed. Enemies just get in the way, the switch ended up being a drag as it was too long and it was missing platforming.

Graphics: 3 out of 5
The tile work and the scenery was very nice, but the sky section just didn't look as great.

Other: 1 out of 5
-1 impossible without F.L.U.D.D
-0.5 slow to start up
-0.5 very short

9/10
Overall comment: I really think you need to finish this. It has the premises of an amazing level, it's just way too short and some of the design isn't as good as it should be.

Star king
Fun: 7 out of 10
While I enjoyed most of the level, it was just confusing with the multiple shines, and no direction to them. It did work, but without proper directions I didn't know which way I should go.

Graphics: 5 out of 5
Very well presented, the tile usage and the scenery works together perfectly.

Other: 3 out of 5
-1 slow loading
+1 for Nyan cat

15/20
Overall comment: This level was very well done, and even while there were no hints it still worked very well. Good job.

Volcove
Fun: 8 out of 10
I enjoyed both your levels. I think level 2 is better in terms of gameplay and platforming comported to 1, but together they were great fun to play. A few points were lost for the minor backtracking and some confusion in part 2.

Graphics: 4 out of 5
Looked mostly great. Some bits were a little bland, but most of it really worked well together. Well done.

Other: 5 out of 5
+1 no lag or slow startup
+1 for the level flip

17/20
Overall comment: It started a little slow, but quickly became another great level. I enjoyed your lava part, and the tricks you used. The second part I thought was brilliant, and incorporated many great and unused options that pulled off. :D

Ouch. Sorry. We had been trying to get the stuff out for days, and I logged in a bunch of times trying to get ahold of anybody, including you, and I had crazy stuff going on in my house with our dogs so I couldn't just hang out online all night, and I was getting as annoyed as everyone else that this was taking so long. I saw the opportunity and I went for it. Sorry. No hard feelings, Buff? (Goes for you too, King...)

I dunno though ... I really felt that one was gonna get a medal. So much for 4-leafed clovers. :P

I did feel a bit better after reading the judges' comments though.

Right, I'd better get started with the 16th LDC! :D
