4th Semiannual Runouw Votes (Winter 2011-12)
Posted: January 1st, 2012, 2:43 pmHey, all, it's that time of year again- we begin to pick our favorites of the last six months! It's time for Runouw Votes!
How does it work?
It's simple- we start with the nominee round. You can list between one or two people you believe deserve a nomination for each of the voting categories. Myself and a tentative crew will work to narrow down the nominees to five to seven in a final voting round. Aznchau will set up live polls for each category where you can vote for each category, and whoever gets the most votes gets a trophy!
Below I'll have the code available for copypasting categories for convenience, but there will be some changes to the categories!
The categories Best Level Designer Winning Contest (And The Winner IS) and Best Story (Cliffhanger) will not have the nominees decided by the public. They, and two new categories, will be decided by a specialty group that is being built. They will deliberate on a set of 5 nominees for each one and then you'll vote. This is to make sure we get a good list for each one without any odd flubs.
Best Forum Game (I'd Like to Buy A Vowel) and Best Musical Taste/Insight have been discontinued.
Best External to Site Game (Okay, so Runouw.com doesn't have everything) has become Best External To Site Media (Outside Influences). With this you could include anything else- anime, music, groups, stuff like that, as well as games. Likewise, Biggest Fanboy to any Game (Level Up) becomes Biggest Fanboy to Anything (Dangerous Obsessions.)
When you do something for Member With Hidden Talents (Master of the Dark Alley) you must cite a source of their talent. If we were going with, say, Nan, cite an art piece by him. Whoever gets the most nominees still wins, but I just want proof you know WTF you're talking about. XD
I think we could have a little fun and bring back the Most Likely to be a Couple category.
A new category! Nicest User (Actor/ess of Random Kindness). Should be self explanatory.
