Le rules and le additional rules


- Level series are allowed, but only 3 levels max! But note that the average of all levels will be the overall score, so you may have got a better score with 1 level only!
- Your level must fit the theme.
- No or hardly any insults or profanity allowed.
- You must make a brandnew level for this LDC. Taking ideas from an older level is allowed, but not a whole section.
- Collaborations are allowed, but only max 2 people. But don't make one just because it's allowed.
- You are allowed to make a story or not. Note that some judges dislike too long stories. And don't make a story when it just ruins gameplay.
- You can use songs not included in the game. Link the player to the song via

when using no in-game music, for example: YouTube.

And now to the additional ones...

- Like mentioned above, you are allowed 3 levels max, not 5. This is to reduce the amount of levels judges need to play (hopefully) for faster judging and that people don't overplan.
- You will only get an extension up to 2 days and only with a very good reason. EDIT: Only max. 1 day extension now, the other one was already added for everybody.
- You have to praise me in the level. This will result in insta 20/20 points in my judgings

Judging

10 points: Fun
Did the level entertain you? Was the story good, when existing, did it ruin the gameplay too much? Were there some extremely fun, annoying or frustrating parts?

5 points: Graphics
Does the level have cutoff? Did it make your eyes cry of luck or uglyness? Were the tiles and items used wisely? Do different tiles and items fit together or do they just look ugly? Is there decoration which is used in a good way?

5 points: Other
You start with 3 points. Points get added or reduced for everything which doesn't fit in any of the two categories or just stands out. Lag and loading time also give or reduce points here. Some judges also give/reduce points for a good music choice.

20 points: Overall
Most of the time there is a short summary here or a little comment to end the judging for the level. Not every judge does that.

Can y'all please post your level codes in spoilers? Otherwise all the code really lags my page and makes it a nightmare to manage on phone. I've been meaning to ask for awhile. As WITBLO12 draws near I wanna test le levels with le ease, especially with this old boltbag.

I might attend this, but I have a lot of other levels on-hand (not to mention my first level series that I am trying to get at least 3 levels out of, to unlock the topic.).

If I manage to gain the time for a level here, I'll edit this post with BIG words (Not the biggest, though :3).
