I actually had several reasons for having retired in the first place... (yeah, for those who didn't know, I didn't feel like joining any LDCs again)
In first place, at the moment I did I was kind of unsure in a lot of things I guess, and wasn't sure of should my time be spent on. Besides of the fact that I tend to procrastinate in a lot of things...
In second place... he fact that I kind of started to get bored of the Level Designer itself. It does have a good amount of things that could be improved and all... It would be awesome if Runouw or someone else with enough knowledge of Flash did a better version (if I ever get to learn Actionscript I'll give it a shot myself

). I mean, LOOK AT LAST LEGACY! With the layers and the automatic tiles and the everything... It doesn't need to be completely LL-like, especially given some differences between engines, but there are a few things that would be nice.
In third place... I got tired of the Level Designer scene. Not sure why. Maybe the fact I never got past 4th place and (from my point of view at least) wasn't really that appreciated as a LDer. After I retired some people were like "No, you're awesome" and stuff like that, but I wouldn't know. There's also the fact that LDCs seem to be like the only way to measure one's skillz. I mean, you don't get a medal for making a series in the Portal. You have to do stuff for LDCs. Which is probably why all the levels I made were for LDCs. Yeah. I now realize I was doing it for the fame. Or something. I don't really like that idea very much. One should do things because one likes to do it. So, given that I didn't care about the "fame" anymore, and I seemed to be getting tired of the LDing itself, I quit.
LDing was pretty much the reason I joined Runouw... You'd think I would have left, especially considering I'm going to college (to be precise, I start tomorrow), but nope. I like this page, this community, and I've made a few friends... I hope... So I hang in here every now and then.
After a bit, I came to Last Legacy and now I've been playing with its designer for a while. In case you didn't know, I made most of the tiles for AwesomeJRFD's SMB 1-1 Remake (I wanted to do trigger stuff, but he did the whole thing xD). So I thought maybe I could start designing in LL, or something. And since there weren't any LDCs for it yet, I could truly do it for the art. Cool, heh?
And then JSlayerXero asked me if I wanted to collaborate with him in this LDC. I didn't really feel like designing for SM63, but I decided to do it. Xero's my friend, and even if he has weird mood swings and sometimes is a jerk to me

I do care for him. So I did it for the Friendship. When one of us didn't feel like continuing, the other one would do stuff. And so, our combined powers of Level Designed and Insanity gave birth to Hall of the Editor. Maybe it's not a very good level (although I like it myself), but we did it together.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna design for SM63 again, but I actually might do it again now. It might have a lot of flaws, but the SM63 LD can do some cool stuff (and when I make my improved LD it will be even better xD ). So, maybe I'll see you around... and if you want to do a collab or something... I'll consider it.
Very long post and I actually realized a few things WHILE writing it. Mystical stuff.
