Seventh?
SEVENTH?
WHAT?
NO
NO!
No... No... No...
Okay, first thing, I asked before making this level if it fit the theme. I was told it did, so I call BS on the deduction for not fitting the theme. Other than that, some other things as I read the list.
Getting stuck on the top of the cage blocks is some weird glitch. Getting around it can be a bit annoying since it requires holding space to fire the FLUDD before you hit the ceiling. Ah well. Honestly Nwolf, I did my best to make it impossible to beat this level without the Rocket FLUDD. I wasn't sure about the bullet bills, but props to you for being able to pull that off. I didn't even bother play testing that to be honest XD.
Honestly, I have no idea if the invisibility thing has been done before. I think it's sort of been done, but in much smaller chunks. I think...
Honestly, a couple of things I'd like to mention. I got major points deduction for a lack of variety. This is entirely my fault. Before I made this level I did something I'm sure nobody does. I decided to make a somewhat oldschool level: short, but the sheer difficulty makes up for the length. Part of this was limiting myself to 4 screens that I had to make the most of. I also placed an unnecessary size limit on myself. So yeah, really short level because of that.
A second thing I wanted to do was make artificial checkpoints. I did this once. The invisibility star being behind the tree was placed as a sort of checkpoint. There's a chance you can stumble upon it by accident, but for the most part it serves as a checkpoint so that you can shortcut one of the harder parts of this level.
The third thing I did was decided to add a story. I decided to do something crazy and continue the story of my previous LDC entry. I was wondering if anybody would notice.
One last thing I would like to mention. I made the level design in three to five days at most. While I added the signs a week later or something, that took about an hour or two at most. I'm pretty sure I'm the only serious entrant that worked that short on the level. I'm actually kind of surprised I got in the top 10, much less 7th, because I knew it was a pretty average level overall. I'm not sure if I should take this as a compliment to me or if that's supposed to say something about the other contestants. Maybe next time I'll actually try to win instead of just make something for the fun of it.
That said: BRACE YOURSEEELLLVES! *starts firing off the cannons in random directions*

I hang out with Jesus.
Even though I prefer to go by Xero, nobody calls me that it seems.
