Probably because super nice judges like myself and Amp aren't on board. I'd have given several ribboners high scores.

I honestly have to say, I was kinda disappointed in a lot of the levels you guys gave me to judge, so that's why about 2 fifths of the levels I judged had a score of 10 or below. :|

Ayray on the other hand, pretty much surprised me. Great job on 1st place, you honestly deserved it.

Oh yeah, speaking of surprises and deserving, I was surprised when I saw DB get only 5th place, I mean that level he made was pure quality, oh well, it's life.

I was surprised DB placed so high. Expected lower : P

Oh yeah, what is it with you and taking lots of points of levels that follow the theme in form of ice forests?

I think my way of judging other people's level is fine.

Unless you're punishing people for following a theme in a slightly different manner.

It didn't seem like a "slight manner" to me. Ok, the end.

Oh. That reminds me.

Taking points off for Cheep Cheeps not being near water is very unfair. Where else could they flop around? What other enemies act just like Cheep Cheeps, and keep the difficulty and creativity the same? None do.

I'm not trying to judge how you judge, but next time you judge, I highly recommend you watch how strict you're being. I don't think my level deserved that point deduction for something that minuscule.
If that same strictness applied to everything else, I wouldn't be anywhere on the tier list right now. In fact, that would make me seem "overrated."

Again, I don't want to put you on the spot, but I want you to realize what could happen if you're too strict, especially on the little things.

I think where GM took off points on so-called "ice forest" levels for not fitting the theme was fine. Though I personally didn't care about that enough to deduct points, I will say that if one is going to do a level primarily relying on the snow tileset, then one ought to really make sure that it feels like a forest rather than have it feel like a poor excuse to make a snow/ice level. I do think a case can be made against JSlayerXero and Killswitch's levels on that point, depending on how much you felt those levels felt like a genuine ice forest. As that's really a subjective criterion I don't think you can justifiably criticize GM for his stance on that.

An argument is settled with less issues if you allow both sides to give and receive feedback and tell what they think of it, as well as willing to open up to others' thoughts.

If you're just like "My way of doing this is fine" without any reasonable reason for thinking that way, you're just hurting others, like me.
