An ice forest/jungle is perfectly okay for this theme. As long as it is a forest or a jungle.

I personally avoid taking off points for cheep-cheeps on the land, coin misplacement or lack of 1-ups etc unless they actually have a serious effect on the level. If it bothers me, because some days I am just very eagle-eyed, I tend to make notes of improvement in the other section but don't deduct points for it. I suggest other judges to do the same.

MP3 EDIT: Also I've done the LDC titlecard and put it in the hall of fame topic if anyone wants to see.. :D

-1.5 Warp pipe maze is damn annoying

Apparently someone didn't find the hidden hint or the strange abundance of butterflies. :>

I do understand how you would probably get frustrated by that. The reason why I added a hidden sign in the level that gave the hint was because one of my friends that happened to come over thought that adding a hint would make it a bit less frustrating.

Woo.

Fourth place is more than I expected to get, but I'm glad I got up there.

I'm guessing you missed the detailed judges' comments posted by Yoshi Boo on the top of page 33. Look in the spoiler tags and scroll down to find your level's review by each judge. If you saw those comments but are still uncertain as to how to improve your level, let us know.

As for the 25th LDC, will it be special? And can we have it in August please so people can enter in Summer?
