Well I had done some kind of journal thing last year but it died quite soon after I started So I'm gonna do it again, but this time I'll actually post once a day about something, everyday. Hopefully.

So yeah, the idea is that I talk a bit about interesting things I did in the day, random thoughts that come to mind, and whatnot. I'm also doing it as a weird way to keep track of things. Or something. Dunno.

January 1, 2014 ~ Welcome New Year!

Entry #1 - 17:25

After having dinner with my parents last night, we waited for midnight. As the countdown came to 0, we yelled "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" and hugged and wished each other a happy new year, and then there was the national anthem on the radio, and then we started dancing to random music. I suck so much at dancing.

Then my uncle came by to drop off my grandma. We played cards for a while, then my grandma had to leave and I went to bed, because I was quite tired.

So yeah, the morning happens...

First day of 2014, the second Year of Luigi. Did you know that the Year of Luigi thing was extended? It's gonna continue this year. That's awesome. Luigi does deserve some more love. ^_^ I've always been a fan of Luigi. And apparently we have a Dr. Luigi game now. Hadn't heard of it before...

Before lunch I played on the Wii for a good while. I've been trying to beat The Subspace Emissary in Brawl so I can unlock all the characters asap. It does feel a bit like a chore sometimes... but I still like SSE. Even if others find it boring. Sure, it has its flaws, but it's still fun.

Today I unlocked... no characters at all. :3

Now I got in the laptop and decided to start this topic. ^_^ It's actually an idea I've had for sometime...

I'll try to do something useful now, like getting that Secret Santa gift done. I'll also see if I can advance a little in other things. I'll try.

I'll probably write something else here later.

I haven't actually done the gift yet, but I already know what I'm gonna make. ^_^ Besides that I haven't done too much... for dinner we had leftovers of the food we have left from yesterday (so much meat was cooked xD).

That's probably it for today, so yeah, see you tomorrow. I'll most likely make a new post for the next day. And hopefully the next day will be a bit more interesting than this...

January 2, 2014 ~ My main brawler

Entry #1 - 21:52

Earlier today I played Brawl for 3 hours and something... Mostly SSE. Made it to the point just before entering the Great Maze. Meaning that I've unlocked every character except for Sonic, Jigglypuff, Wolf and Toon Link. And that includes... Luigi! ^_^ Luigi's been my main since SSB64... I like beating up people with him :3

There's this friend of mine, who's also my official Rival (for real, I even just refer to him as "Rival" instead of his actual name most of the time xD) who challenged me to brawl. We're gonna get together on the 15th. Not sure where yet. But anyway, I'll try to practice a bit everyday so I can COMPLETELY DESTROY HIM! ...in a videogame.

So there goes a Quest. ^_^

Now I'll try to get as much as I can get done of my Secret Santa gift. I promise I'll get back to work Into The Shadows asap after that. I hope people don't lose all interest in the RPG before that...

I did a lot of the Secret Santa thing. I'm gonna touch up some things in the next days and it's good to go.

Also, I beat my dad at table tennis. ^_^

January 3, 2014 ~ Incoming Awesomeness

I finished the Secret Santa project. ^_^ It's probably one of the best things I've done so far. I just hope the person likes it. Otherwise, s/he shall feel the full extent of my wrath. :3

Also, I beat SSE. ^_^ And as traditional for me already, Tabuu was defeated by Snake's Nikita Missile. For real. All times I've beaten SSE so far I do it with that attack. In fact today I let other group members die just to use Snake for the finale. It's a reference to this by the way. And yes. I also scream that while doing it. :3

And I finally started working on the Into The Shadows RPG. Behold my super update.

January 4, 2014 ~ Drifter

Entry #1 - 23:15

Today I unlocked the other characters I was missing in Brawl. I got all of them now. ^_^

I spent the afternoon playing CTR: Crash Team Racing with my grandma. I had promised to teach her how to drive. :3 She didn't do too great, but she progressed a lot. At least she got 4th place once or twice. ^_^

And despite not really playing this game for a while, I seem to still be awesome at it. You should see me drifting. I get all them turbos. I really like CTR. Unlike Mario Kart, you can actually be skilled AND win. Let's face it, in Mario Kart games first place is the worst place to be (everyone else gets stars! And blue shells! Ok, maybe it's an exaggeration but still).

I used to suck at Mario Kart 64, maybe that's why I'm biased And overall I didn't find it too fun. I do better in Mario Kart Wii though. And I find it quite interesting that there's no Brake button. :3 They finally figured out NO ONE BRAKES WHILE PLAYING THESE GAMES

So yeah, didn't do much today.

lel mario kart 64 is the least luck-based of them all (unless if you're playing on Luigi Circuit, where a free blue shell can pop up every 2nd lap). I also grew up with Mario Kart 64. :3

Oh hey, someone else actually reads this! ^_^

I dunno, I never played much Mario Kart 64... and when I did, it was with people who knew the game well. xD Last year I played with a girl and some friends, 2 people at a time... The girl just kept wrecking us. And I always somehow ended up in last place. All races. xD

So yeah I'm probably biased against Mario Kart games, so I won't say much about them... but CTR is an awesome game. I have to say that.

January 5, 2014 ~ Camping 10 feet away from the house

Entry #1 - 21:30

Today in the afternoon me and my dad set up a tent in the backyard. Not sure what we're gonna do with that yet, but maybe we could just hang around there sometimes. And we're thinking of setting up a pool next to it too. ^_^ We'll have a complete vacation complex in the backyard!

So yeah. Today I started playing Super Mario Galaxy again. Got to the part where you free Luigi ^_^ I don't like how now they always portray him as a coward, but he still seems to make a good appearance here, making him go pick up Power Stars around. I wonder if the actual Stars do involve him, or he's effectively working as a shortcut? One way or another, the first Star he got was from Good Egg Galaxy, and I have to ask how the heck did he get stuck on top of that little house. What's the excuse for that. I mean, he can get off no problem if he wanted to. Also, touching the Power Star can warp you back to the Observatory, why doesn't he try that :3

I got around 30 stars now. Oh right, I also did the first fight with Bowser. It was quite hard to spin attack him sometimes, he moves sorta fast after he gets his tail burned... but still pulled it off! Twice! ...seriously, after beating him the first time I tried to see if there was something under the arena. All I found was a black hole. I hate black holes. >_< Like 90% of my deaths, black holes. All over. Even in places where they shouldn't physically be. YOU CAN'T HAVE A BLACK HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PLANET! THE BLACK HOLE WOULD SUCK THE PLANET INTO IT! ...right? I don't know I'm not an expert.

I haven't done anything else today... I could try advancing a little into something in these hours I have left...

Once upon a time I was into speedrunning The Perfect Run on SMG2. I think my fastest time ever was 3:05. Too bad I'm not into hacking stuff, or I'd have played Master Quest by now.
