Day Three ~ February 23, 2014
Up all night for good fun
11:25
Like the legend of the phoenix... *gets shot*
Last night when we arrived there was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge amount of people. Like, thousands. I dunno. Wherever you looked there was a ton of people

We surfed through that sea of people until we got around the middle. We weren’t really close to the stage, but we were closer than the thousand people behind us at least.
And so we saw the end of a local folk artist, and then came along a spanish singer who sang romantic songs. It was nice I guess, I could sing along with some songs. And with my mom next to me we started like swinging our arms and stuff. xD
Then, along came a band who played like... I don’t know what they played

but it was quite dance-y and stuff, so we started doing something kinda like dance moves? I dunno, we waved our arms back and forth and stuff... for a long while. I was pretty tired by the end of everything.

Got here, got milk, got to bed.
Now we’re starting to get up I guess... Wi-fi still doesn’t work, seems to be a password problem... The shower’s hot water seems to not be working well today, so I might have to shower with cold water, I don’t know xD but I hope that’s fixed already.
Quote of the Night: “Check out how far the light of my flashlight goes!” ~Grandma while pointing her flashlight in the direction of a nightclub’s light beacon in the sky
Fun Fact: Probably happens in other places too, you know the Laser Dudes? The dudes who are always there in the audience of a show, with a green laser, pointing at the sky, at balloons, at random buildings, and at the eyes of the people performing on stage (that thing can leave people blind, not a good idea). Apparently they are not aware that green lasers are supposed to be used for astronomical purposes.
...we’re up all night to get luc-, we’re of all night to ge- *robot voice*
13:53
Well I didn’t shower.

Anyway, my mom suddenly decided to go out, and took me along for the ride. We just walked around the city, looking at stuff.
We went to this museum (small museum) where they displayed, well, old stuff. From the time the city was founded and whatnot. Old bills and coins, you name it. And furniture. Lots of chairs. And a fainting couch! They wouldn’t let you sit on it though. :3
Then we walked around a park next to the museum, and from there we could se a bunch of people skateboarding. There was a pool, and... a basketball court with a bunch of random obstacles placed there, like a rail and a couple slopes. Quite a makeshift skatepark you got there. :3 Complete with a girl learning to skate, a girl with one of these tiny boards just messing around really, a guy bailing, and a bunch of drunk people in a tent next to the place. And a guy making a campfire. And a random old man.
Because at least a quarter of the young population here is either drunk or high. No joke.

The PDI (Investigation Police) always hangs around the streets at all times.
So yeah, then we went to this artisan fair where we looked at random souvenirs, this spot where they sould medicinal herbs, this place where they sold books on all kinds of subjects! Black magic, white magic, red magic, blue magic, green magic... you want to become a Final Fantasy mage, these guys got you covered xD Anyway, we bought some chocolates then we went to the supermarket and bought humitas (it’s... corn... with spices and things... I dunno) for lunch.
Now I’m back home, they’re probably making salad now or something.
Quote of the Midday: “They don’t really sell books here to... read...”
“They sell books on MAGIC! And sex. Lots of sex. And magic sex too, probably”.
~Mom and Nan discussing artisan literature
Fun Fact: The PDI (Policía de Investigaciones = Investigation Police) is a Police force separate from Carabineros which is dedicated to doing detective stuff, pretty much. Looking into gangs and bands of criminals, going undercover, stopping people from selling drugs, finding murderers and whatnot. Being from this Police is significantly more dangerous than being a regular cop I’d say. Their uniform and logo are blue. They probably don’t wear it when undercover I guess

21:00
So everyone took a nap while I played The Minish Cap. After people were done napping, they suddenly decided to go out.
We walked around town and bought bread and some cake we ate right there. :3 Then my grandparents went back to the House to leave the bread. In the meantime my mom and I wandered along the avenue, then took a detour through a foresty semi abandoned area, and somehow ended up on the other side of town.

Then we looked at the beach for a while, then regrouped with the grandparents around there.
Then we got to the 4-wheeled motorcycle circuit. And I decided to take a ride. >:D
I hadn’t been on one of these in a long while, but I knew how to drive it right away. I speeded through the course no problem, getting past everyone. ^_^ I kinda like doing that. I would like to have an actual race in a course like this sometime...
My mom tried to record it with her phone, but failed.

And we’re back here. Dunno what to say now. We had tea, I ate a piece of bread with avocado and another one with peach jam or something.
Oh yeah, a kid from the house next to ours had left a ball in our roof, and I got it.
Nothing else to say.
Quote of the Day: Nothing, not a damn thing. xD No noteworthy things were said.
Fun Fact: I rode a 160 cc four-wheeled bike. :3
Fun Fact #2: Today I wore a Luigi cap and a Super Mario Bros t-shirt. And a hoodie left unzipped and half covering the cap. When I was walking around, a kid just stared at me for a bit.

Fun Fact #3: Ever since I got here I’ve seen around 3 kids wearing MLP shirts. And I find that awesome.
Fun Fact #4: Ever since I got here I’ve seen way too many people wearing Minecraft shirts, Creeper hats, and seen a lot of places where they sell Minecraft merch. I find that awesome and weird at the same time. Minecraft is hitting the mainstream...
