Re: Survivor: Yoshi's Island: Season 2 of Runouw Survivor!

Postby JSlayerXero » June 15th, 2014, 12:37 pm

What? I promised I'd protest. I came up with the best argument I had. Sorry for not wanting to lie... Maybe I should've just said *insert protest here* :/
It's not like I have legitimate issues with letting go of the past or anything...

You promised you'd protest; nobody really cared about that promise and nobody would hold you to it if you decided to back up and go "you know what? let's leave this peacefully" :)

These all came from the Recap thread.
Sounds casual to me. So what might I be saying? Probably that it's pretty hypocritical if you're saying that we need to talk casually about this.

If you guys want to see if you're really past this, read through them. If you're still bitter, you'll feel bitter reading them. If you're over it, you'll laugh at some of those parts.

I'm willing to calm down, even if that experience did nearly ruin friendships.

This really came to me as a surprise.... Judging by how the last one went.

Am I really the only one from Shadowsquid who enjoyed this experience? I think you guys are only looking at the bad side of it.

If it wasn't for survivor, I woudn't have communication with almost anyone I have today. Magnen, Nan, Harmless, now I have contact with them because of a project idea that came from the level designing challenge. I also learned how to control myself better after the spy incident that happened back then, and learned a lot about some people here on the forums that I didn't even talk with before.

And on the top of everything, I had fun. We needed an event of some kind to bring some activity to the forums, looking at how it was dead.

I know lots of you had fun with it. It's just that you keep remembering only the bad side. The Zelda like houses, all the jokes and games, weren't these fun? Sure, it has it bad side, but everything has. I think we just went with the competitive spirit too far, and ended up ruining the whole experience.

It didn't go bad whatsoever. I'm know for sure mostly all of Oerhaos enjoyed it.

I mean sure, I was pretty pissed at ven for going against me for no real good reason, but that was in game, I wasn't actually mad at him outside of the game, because I actually understand that that's how the game is meant to be played.
Can we just let it go? We get it. You didn't enjoy Survivor because you didn't know what survivor would actually be like when you joined. Big whoop. That's good for the next round of players because they know what's to be expected.

Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.
Karyete: You're not getting any apology, especially after now.

No, not really. I enjoyed it, sure, but my god the aftermath stung a bit.

I already said sorry... Yeesh, and here I thought I was unrelenting. It's not like I have legitimate issues that are clouding my judgement or anything. That would mean I'm human. I dare not go there. I was bored this whole game and the aftermath left an annoyingly bad taste in my mouth. Sorry that I took your roleplaying so seriously. How was I supposed to know? I usually hide in my ego search so pardon me if I missed something useful. I didn't find this thread because I was looking for it...

Edit: Sorry. I might be the only one here that still has issue with this. Might as well just roast me on a spit if sorry means nothing anymore...

Saying sorry doesn't mean anything if you don't mean it. And by calling yourself human, you are calling us inhuman, and that kinda hurts.

I can't handle whatever personal problems and spiritual searches you have, but I can at least address social problems that I see arise.
