Risk of spontaneous combustion aside, a lot has happened since the last Runouw Votes nearly a year ago. We've gained a ton of new members, as well as a ton of new stories, artwork, level designer creations, and friendships. <3 We might've missed the winter Votes, but that just means there's more to cover now.
So how does this work?
Alright, first things first, we've had a lot of new members join in the past year, so let's do a quick rundown. Runouw Votes is basically our forum's award ceremony, split into two phases. First up is the nomination phase, but to do that, we need some categories:

Best Normal Member (Ordinary members who go above and beyond):
Best New Member (Passing on the torch):
Best Level Designer (Creator of worlds):

Biggest Fanboy (Dangerous obsessions):
Best Avatar (Awesomeness on the side):
Best Signature (Every post is cool):
Funniest Member (Laughter is the best medicine):
Master of a Hidden Talent (Don't underestimate me!):
Most Notable Site Friendship (Awwwwwwww~):
Biggest Accomplishment (On site or off, we get stuff done... sometimes):
Best Super Mario 63 Level (Can't fix what isn't broken):
Best Last Legacy Level (Forward into new horizons):
As you can see, they're pretty varied. Just copypaste the above into a reply, pick the user you feel deserves to be recognized in the above areas, and submit it here. After two weeks or so, the second phase begins. I'll collect the most frequent nominations and compile them into a poll, which I'll edit into this post. After another few weeks, whoever has the most votes per category in the poll will be declared winner, and get a nifty medal to display beneath your avatar:

There are a few changes from last year though- for instance, we've got a few returning categories and even a few entirely new ones. You're also not allowed to nominate yourself this time around, but you are allowed to promote your work around the site to try to convince others to vote or nominate you. Finally, all nominations should have a reason. This might be a link to one of their levels, a piece of art, or even a simple sentence explaining why (just make sure it took place after the last RV awards in July 2013). In cases where there is a huge number of differing nominations, this may be used to narrow the selection a little, so it is very important.
As mentioned earlier, we've had a lot of new members since the last awards show, so feel free to ask if you've got any questions. Anyone can submit a nomination, and anyone can win, regardless of how long you've been with us... that being said, let's get nominating. :p
