Nan's referring to the topic he made about judges being possibly biased to higher tier list designers. We've already come to a conclusion though that it was a mistake to say this. EDIT: Late.

If I'm honest I'm just going to lock this topic tonight. These posts are becoming destructive for everyone and it's not getting us anywhere. This is already starting to go increasingly off-topic, it's about time it gets a lock anyway because the results are out, done and dusted.

If anyone feels the need to continue this topic elsewhere, please start a new thread about it. If we have serious problems within the community then by all means start a topic and let's solve it there. I'm seeing that this is not the place for that and as a moderator, I'm gonna say that we keep any user hatred or disagreements etc in a place where we can actually fix them. It's quite clear to me that all these argumentative posts are due to something more than just level designing and judging. If you've got a problem at all, please make a separate topic about it.

I probably worded that part of my post not very clearly then, I was just referring to any problems of any kind involved here to be taken to another topic.

Not taking sides at all, just seeing it from both ends. Shroom wanted to suggest something he thought would help the LDC judgings because he was clearly upset by the low scores he received, and then others were annoyed because it seemed like this suggestion was only for his personal gain. I was going to make another post before and lost it, but I agreed with you MoD on the "it's biased against judges who tend to give lower or higher scores than others" point. After all, I gave Shroom a 14/20, I felt he deserved that and higher. You gave JJJ a 17/20 and you felt he deserved that overall. It would feel unfair to take away those scores. It was actually the last line of that post I disliked.

But yeah, I'm just trying to be a mediator for now. I've decided I am going to lock this topic later anyway.

On a more LDC related note, I thought the competition was really high this time round. I only was disappointed with one entry.
