I did that in the 25th LDC because I lost because Nwolf forgot to judge the extra level but even then I learned that was my fault for hiding it too well.

It's different from complaining that the judge that gave you the second highest score didn't give you a high enough score because you repeated the same flaws as usual

*punches Supershroom*

You didn't place. Freaking deal with it and move on.

*punches all the judges of the LDC once more for good measure*

I might point to the transparency topic once again. (If you dislike the name, I don't mind changing it. I'm like always bad with these things.)
As I keep thinking of it as a good idea. Wether WITBLO kind of did it before or not. <3

So the moral of the story is that I never judge an LDC again because even if I simply judge it I will have my character assassinated by half the forum.

To be fair, MoD, I think Nan is just having a laugh.

It's just the general idea. Every time results are released we have to deal with extreme scrutiny and attacks because we didn't reflect their opinions or give them the W.

Not this one in particular. Sorry for bringing it up, may it be pushed aside.

That's really not a good solution. If I simply accept judgings unconditionally, this will be a never-ending thing.

Also MoD, "attack" really is the wrong word. You all should refrain from thinking that I would bluntly attack anything that would displease me. Of course it's easy to book any complaints as passive-agressive offenses by yourself, but that's a matter of your own character.

Oh come on, punching people is fun! :P

*punches Karyete* I expected you would dodge it... And yeah, I just did it for fun. :3 No hard feelings towards anyone.

Actually, if you just accepted the judgings and worked on the criticism, then everyone wins. Your levels will improve, therefore your scores will improve, therefore you'll be more likely to place because you won't make the same level designing mistakes. Then the judges won't get offended by your attitude, and you'll see that the level designing scene doesn't have a personal vendetta against you.

You need to accept that there will always be negative of some sort amongst the positive, no matter how much of a masterpiece the level is. It's going to be extremely unlikely to get a perfect score in an imperfect level designer, there will always be something. Try changing your mindset- instead of taking the criticism and the lower scores personally or as an insult to your ability, take it as a compliment. That person has given you grounds to improve upon, if they really didn't care about your skill or ability and truly wanted you to fail, then they wouldn't have told you how to do better in the future. Simple as.

And this is still only your third LDC, in my third LDC I was placing 7th and below.
