After taking several hours just getting the first 3 entries done, and noticing how half of the entries could basically count for 2 level entries each, I realized this is going to take significantly longer than I expected. And by that I mean I will likely be done by Thursday. Friday at the absolute latest.

I think judgings are meant to take longer. Even in a break, I still have a somewhat busy day, because of normal chores and some other stuff, so it doesn't give me the time I wanted to analyze the entry correctly and give it a good score.

Unless you root for small paragraphs with few lines of text, which is not what am I going for here.

So, yeah YB. As long as you don't finish your judgings in two weeks its fine.

I've started the replays today, and am sketching something close to proper reviews as I go.

I'm through with three out of the eleven finished entrants. It's helped with figuring out the levels a lot.

It's okay, I'm only judging two levels and I'm still finishing up. I might need to replay some of them too.

Has anyone reached a consensus about what to do with the unfinished levels? We have DarwinThe100 and Oranj. I'm fine with judging them but I just want to know if we're all on the same page here.

Then there's the issue of illusion's level...I think the submitted parts should be able to stand on their own. Looking at the first part which isn't part of the entry is more likely to influence me with that part in mind instead of having played the contest levels only. Hence, I think I'm not going to play the first part...at least until I'm done judging the level. I get what Shroom's said, but I think this is the best way to go about it.

I don't really care if you officially judge my level or not. I kind of want feedback on at least the graphics/first developments of a story and gameplay (since I'm planning to finish this project... eventually), but if you don't want to factor in an actual score/ranking due to it being so short and abruptly ended, you don't have to (unless I get last place, in which I'd be more than willing to make the sacrifice of taking 13th or whatever so that it can boost everyone else up, at least in a relative sense). That's just me, though; can't speak for Darwin.

I didn't give it a judging officially in part because I'm ill so I wanted to nail actual entrants. But you know I love you and your levels and I wish you'd finish it.
