Okay, I got to look at Darwin's level and...there's no real reason to bother judging it. It's like, not even 5% done. Hence, I won't.

I'll be sure to look at yours though, Oranj.

The big question is if OJ's fragment fits in any way into the finale / ultimate battle theme. From the very first look, it doesn't seem to.

I would consider adding OJ to Potentials on the next Tier List update though. (keep up the good stuff!)

Thank you, FF.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

Shroom, OJ's level fits the theme because it's the ultimate battle against procrastination.

Since I've had no word from Amp, I was going to skip the judgings on both unfinished entries. I can still leave some commentary on Aethereal Garden, though.

Also, I had already played the first two parts of illusion's series long before the deadline, and Part 1 is more of a test drive than anything. It doesn't add to the "story", and thus, it can be disregarded without affecting his score.

EDIT: Seven out of eleven. Also, the post's getting huge *-*

I feel like it fits in a number of meta ways like that (finally actually entering a contest, battling against procrastination, etc), and I was also paying homage to some older levels and games (thus the continuance/conclusion thing), and also if you hadn't noticed, I wrote in the level that the world is kinda about to be completely obliterated

but make of it what you will, it was my fault for starting extremely late and not managing to get far enough to flesh that out any better :p

I need to wake up early for tomorrow, but all I have is Oranj's level to look at. So I'll send my judgings on Friday for certain.

I'm really sorry that my levels cause a lot of troubles.
There're no story sign in the Part I. Although the Part II and III are the sequel of the Part I, you can understand the story without playing Part I. You only have to read this:
Long long ago, a city which used to be prosperous was destroyed by a mysterious force.Since then, it has been a city of death with nobody alive. There hasn't been anyone come to this city anymore. The silence hasn't be broken until Mario ventured and found this city accidentally...

Well, we can surely understand that the theme description confused you so you also posted an older level. It's fine, next time you just flip through the Info page on the Wiki and you'll do well.

Sorry for not responding sooner. Yep, I would have just requested you to skip the unfinished levels anyway, so no problems there.
I'm so so relieved that this LDC may be pretty quick and easy to sort out. Need some stress free stuff to do.

DONE WITH THE JUDGINGS. Just need to review them now, and add the post formatting, and then they will be all yours, Amp.

Speaking of which, I sent you a PM about entering the judging process, Amp, but you didn't reply, so I just continued judging anyways. Will my judgings still be accepted?
