Doram's FTP Access

It has been brought to my attention that there has been another round of requests sent to Runouw that I be given FTP access to the site. I have explained it again to the relevant mods, but I am now posting this as a PSA/update thread.
I HAVE been talking to Runouw about all of this, and I have now spent several multi-hour sessions working on the issue with them. There is a problem with my gaining access to the system now that a public/private key encryption system has been installed. This system is a GOOD thing, as it protects the site against hackers and viruses, but while Runouw can connect fine, the system is refusing to recognize my computer and grant me access. We have tried everything that we can think of, and are currently researching other possibilities. This involves scouring message boards, and technical sites to see if we can find descriptions of this or similar problems, and find new ideas to fix this.
To reiterate, Runouw has NOT been ignoring me, it is simply too big a problem for even the two of us together to figure out. I have NOT given up on it, but no new solutions have been found yet. If any of you have any expertise on SFTP and public key encryption, feel free to PM me, but PLEASE stop asking Runouw to just fix this, because he can't.
