Good evening, Runouw.com! It's been far too long since Oranjui hosted the last Votes, all the way back in December 2015. Things may have settled down during that time, but seeing how well this year's events have turned out, it seems a good moment to give this another shot.

Runouw Votes is a way of recollecting all the great stuff that's happened in the community over the past several months. Have you taken part of an exciting game, spotted some rad artwork, or heard a good joke? Tell us about it, and we'll add it to the list. And as per the customs, the most outstanding moments and accomplishments will be awarded one of these!

Anyone in the forums may participate, regardless of how long you've been around!

The first step is submitting nominations. Paste the form above into your reply and fill it out, choosing one nominee for each category. Tell us a little about why should they bring the trophy home. There's a few key details I need to highlight so all of this goes swimmingly, so bear with me:
• You cannot nominate yourself or your own work.
  
• Don't forget to justify your votes! Though it may be a brief explanation.
• Your nominations must all be in a single reply. You may edit your votes until the first round's deadline is over.
• You needn't submit all your nominations at once, but your post may only have up to three blank categories by the deadline.

   A few months back, he singlehandedly drove General Error away time and time again. That alone already warrants my nomination.

   For his activity in the Level Portal.
4. Best Level Designer:
   
   He has very consistent work on both Super Mario 63 (e.g. Emerald Trials) and Last Legacy (e.g. the green level still in progress).
5. Best Artist:
   
   He's skilled in quite a few forms, but his hand-drawn monsters are otherworldly. I'm still yet to find out how to draw a single line with half this much confidence.
6. Biggest Fanboy:
   
   He shares my enthusiasm for abridged series.
7. Best Avatar:
   
   
8. Best Signature: 's signature, which highlights an animated banner made by on the last Secret Santa.

10. Master of a Hidden Talent:
    
    He's been holding back on some serious pixel art skills.
11. Most Noticeable Site Friendship: and
    
    Put together Steam and Runouw's Discord servers, main and RP, and this choice becomes self-explanatory.
12. Biggest Accomplishment: 's Daily Drawings
    
    This was, by and large, the most successful challenge of its kind I've seen, and it's a New Years' Resolution on top of all that.
13. Best Level: Mission at Castle Xionne by
    
    It's the full package. There's this bit of magic in the game's design about how this level builds up on the original gameplay and graphical style, and makes so many trigger systems work harmoniously. Not to mention the Stickman fight.

He just does everything man. Fixing the general errors, adding new codes, helping everybody... He's all around a great moderator, and an awesome guy.

Not only is he a great friend, but he's one of the most active here, and he also did a great job helping with the 32nd LDC. also he's my rival

You're a fun fella, and we like having you in the chat :3

4. Best Level Designer (King of the Portals):
Though you have yet to do something in LL, your SM63 work is nothing short of amazing. Keep it up!

5. Best Artist (Pretty colors... or sounds, or words):
Your drawings have been getting better and better, and your art style is really captivating.

6. Biggest Fanboy (Supporting the official release): and
Bog with the Twingo and Mega with both FE and JoJo. I don't need to say much here because this is something we see for ourselves, everyday :P

Again, I love your art style, and your avatar just nails it.

I guess it's a new sig because I didn't notice it before, but damn, it's freaking awesome.

I was set on this the moment we had that conversation on the chat. Actually, every conversation can become funny with you on the chat.

I've been listening to your tracks and they've only been getting better and better. You have potential man.

This is something that has gone by unnoticed by most, but it's only because of this feature that the LDC posts and Rai's RV post just above look so, so pretty. Fulltables will allow us to go wild with our posts' layouts from now on.

13. Best Level (From both Last Legacy and Super Mario 63): Mission at Castle Xionne by
Your level made me remember just how awesome LL can be. I've been playing levels for ages, and I haven't seen anybody pull what you did so successfully before. It was amazing.

Constantly seems to be able to keep up activity and dedication to doing things for the community (like this, for example). Also bonus points for baking lots of cookies.

Hoo boy, where do I even begin? Driving off General Error after General Error, like Rai has already mentioned, is pretty significant in itself. I won't monologue, but to say Doram has done a lot for the site would be a huge understatement.

2. Best Normal Member (Out of the blue):
It was pretty hard to pick this one, because Runouw has a great selection of members to pick from, but ultimately I think Harmless is just a really chill guy who's easy to have a laugh with, and deserved a nomination in my opinion.

3. Best New Member (Passing on the torch):
Can't remember who I said it to, but I do remember saying that "Maaaarrrrriiiiio is gonna be one of those guys who sticks around", and I said that with hope. And thankfully, he did, and well worthy of a mention here with his bright attitude and love for Minecraft c:

5. Best Artist (Pretty colors... or sounds, or words):
A pretty hard decision too, but as someone who's attempted it, I know just how much commitment and memory daily drawings take. And despite being made in a day, some of these drawings were pretty impressive!

6. Biggest Fanboy (Supporting the official release): . Twingo. Need I say more?

7. Best Avatar (Awesomeness on the side): , his artwork never fails to impress me and his avatars are charming and awesome.

8. Best Signature (Every post is cool): Undecided

9. Funniest Member (Laughter is the best medicine): , his quick wit has got me on several occasions and I think he's quite under the radar.

10. Master of a Hidden Talent (Don't underestimate me): , your cello skills are fantastic and I can see you going far with them. Yes guys, cello. Cello. Not violin.

11. Most Notable Site Friendship (It's about to set sail): and , because this is an original and surprising nomination.

12. Biggest Accomplishment (The march of progress is relentless): with First Fantasy.
Good god man, I'm not much of a roleplayer but First Fantasy is incredibly engaging. To manage such a complicated and frantic RPG, and tell such an engaging story, is not easy to pull off.

13. Best Level (From both Last Legacy and Super Mario 63): Mission at Castle Xionne by . I love seeing clever mechanics in LL, and if this level just looked a little prettier, it would be the perfect level to show off what LL can really achieve.

[Harmless]

1. Best Staff Member (If you think of work, think of Akeem): Doram, without a doubt. Everyone else has already mentioned why, he's just been so proactive and done so much for the community.

2. Best Normal Member (Out of the blue): Megar, very gureato friend to hang out with

3. Best New Member (Passing on the torch): joshio01 (I dunno if this really counts as new, but relatively speaking, he's only been here for a few years and yet he's grown a lot considerably)

4. Best Level Designer (King of the Portals): Karyete, my boy has been making some very good LL levels consistently and it's scary

5. Best Artist (Pretty colors... or sounds, or words): Raiyuuni, I personally really like their art style. Very clean.

6. Biggest Fanboy (Supporting the official release): Maaaaarriooo, the guy knows way too much about Minecraft... Or maybe we all don't know enough.

7. Best Avatar (Awesomeness on the side): NanTheDark, handmade avatars are the best, and his in general is always pleasing to look at.

8. Best Signature (Every post is cool): I have no idea. I would probably say MP3 Amplifier but that's just speaking from nostalgia. (actually on second thought yeah place my vote on miss amp)

9. Funniest Member (Laughter is the best medicine): JSlayerXero, whenever I talk with him or hang out he always just seems to throw me in for a loop. Maybe it's just that he has a perspective that's way different than everyone else that I'm always fascinated by, but either way he's great company

10. Master of a Hidden Talent (Don't underestimate me): Zunar, check out his writing and the quality of his video editing on his Youtube channel. Also, he has pretty good speedrunning skills; even if he's not the absolute best, he still does some rather good runs and is always improving.

11. Most Notable Site Friendship (It's about to set sail): Raz and Yoshiboo, the two are so adorable :>

12. Biggest Accomplishment (The march of progress is relentless): 1018peter's First Fantasy RPG, we're only a couple of weeks in and I've had so much fun with it already. He's already done a standout job and I can't wait to progress further.

13. Best Level (From both Last Legacy and Super Mario 63): Nightcloud Alpine by Charcoal, it's the level that stuck out the most to me creative wise.

1. Best Staff Member (If you think of work, think of Akeem): Doram. I know I havent been here for a very long time, but still, Doram, you are THE best staff member that Runouw has ever had. You are the one who had helped and supported this site.(Yuri and Kary u guys are second places <3)
2. Best Normal Member (Out of the blue): I dunno, Maybe Nan. Hes the one who created half of the LDC. Although he has been a mod, but still...... Or Maybe BY. Hes just a very cool guy.

5. Best Artist (Pretty colors... or sounds, or words): Nan. Or Forgotten. These two have proved that they are THE best artists in Runouw because I have seen what they have drawn using their hands(or computer).

11. Most Notable Site Friendship (It's about to set sail): I dont know much about any friendship in this site except one. l.m and Yuri. WHY? because l.m proved it to me by snapping at me in the chat. That is real friendship.
12. Biggest Accomplishment (The march of progress is relentless): Playing MINEQUAFT Uhh SM63 itself. Y'all know why.
13. Best Level (From both Last Legacy and Super Mario 63): Machine Massacre Facility: Boss by Jumbo101. Man this boss fight wasn't like any I have seen before. It is inspiring and the boss was looking like its really spitting(?) flames on Mario. LOVE it.
