The mods ARE just doing there job.
If they banned somebody for making a typo, that's unreasonable.
If the mods banned somebody for making a topic that was already made by accident,it's unreasonable.
Have they done that to anyone(And a list of other stuff, that would be unreasonable)?
NO!

*sigh* (I go on vacation for a week, and look what happens *joke* )

Well, I voted 2, personally, but I'd like to sum this up.

10 year olds are 10 year olds, and will act like 10 year olds = not necessarily reasonable because they are still learning. Noobs are noobs = same logic, and noobishness is actually unconnected to age. Finally, mods are mods, and will bloody well do their job, whether it is popular or not, because it is their job, and they are being both responsible and as reasonable as they can be. Yes, there are a few extreme rules, but they are not strictly enforced, and moreover, the rules they are strictly enforcing are always the most reasonable ones.

As for chat hate, I think an Ignore function might be in order, since banning everyone who deserves it is causing too much generalized panic. Clearly, the banhammer is causing damage to the forum itself, and may need to be tweaked. This is an option. And for all of the inappropriate people involved, maybe a good dose of ignore will help more than a length of ban, since those who do not want to listen to them can just leave them on their ignore list, and will never have to hear from them again. As for the offending users, let me bring a bit of parenting advice into this mix. The worst behaviors, like tantrums, should not even be punished. They should be ignored. The reasoning is this: the tantrum is meant to gain attention. Giving it ANY attention, even negative, is proving to the offender that they CAN get attention with the bad behavior, and the punishment REINFORCES the bad behavior. Sometimes the best response is to ignore the childish behavior, and only respond when the person can be reasonable.

As for hate parrots, talking to LD or any other banned user is not against any rules, but spreading any hate to this forum IS. I do not care who is still friends with a hateful person, as long as they do not allow their friendship to cause themselves to be banned by continuing the hate in their friends name. Clearly the banned person is gone because we do not agree/allow their behavior. Don't repeat it. The same will happen to you. The permaban is only used when all other options are gone. It is not used lightly, and if it is used, then it was deserved. Smaller bans are exactly that. Small and temporary. Use the time to cool off, and think about what happened, and come back changed or with a good reason, and we can all move on with our lives. If you or anyone you know disagrees with any kind of ban, PM a moderator about it. Do not bring it up in chat. Do not post about it in the forum. Done.

Bans are here to give us an option when someone is messing the place up. It has nothing to do with grudges or anger. You are making a mess, and refuse to clean it up, so someone more responsible is kicking you and your mess out. That's all there is to it. Come back and do some cleaning up (like apologizing), and you can come play again. Do not, and you can not.

Everyone around here needs to chill out, including me. I'm going to go relax somewhere else now...

Thanks Doram. You pretty much summed up a rant I saved onto my internetless computer and said it in a much nicer tone, then proceeded to add a suggestion that I never would've thought of. (typing this from the Wii)

Doram and the others are right.
Telling a 10 years old kid to act like an mature person is like telling a baby to never cry, ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. (Almost, because we never know :? )

This has been going on for to long.
Not just this whole site.
Youtube,My forum,My site,Viacom,Other forums,etc.
Not only that this site turned into a living hell.
Some of the users are actually from it.
So either we stick together as a site.
Or fall in the deadly pit of lava.
And if you flame me ban me.
I don"t care i had my point's proven.

23 people wanted people to stop being mean to the mods apparently. Counting me, of course. Thank goodness nobody voted for option 3.

Well it seems like a majority votes 2. (Excluding me, I didn't vote.) So why don't we just put everything that happened in the past, learn from mistakes, and move on?
